Seinfeld is an American television sitcom that ran for nine seasons on NBC, from 1989 to 1998. It was created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, with the latter starring as a fictionalized version of himself. Set predominantly in an apartment building in Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York City, the show features a handful of Jerry's friends and acquaintances, including best friend George Costanza (Jason Alexander), friend and former girlfriend Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and neighbor across the hall Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards). It is often described as being "a show about nothing", as many of its episodes are about the minutiae of daily life.

ARTUITIVE INC. Seinfeld Set 1/26th Scaled Replica is a beautifully designed art collectible with remarkable attention to detail, the time-consuming process takes nearly 100 hours to paint and assemble with over 175 pieces!

Eleven molds are used to create the main structure. Wood bases are then cut and painted by hand. The carpet fabric is screen printed and cut, the metal radiators are hand polished, and the many other small pieces are detailed and carefully inspected to create this amazing miniature world of the famous apartment.

Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, is a figure who features in body of legends, which can be traced back to the period of the Song dynasty. He appears as a main character in the 16th century Chinese classical novel Journey to the West (西游记). Sun Wukong is also found in many later stories and adaptations. In the novel, he is a monkey born from a stone who acquires supernatural powers through Taoist practices. After rebelling against heaven and being imprisoned under a mountain by the Buddha, he later accompanies the monk Tang Sanzang on a journey to retrieve Buddhist sutras from "the West".

Sun Wukong possesses immense strength; he is able to lift his 13,500 jīn (7,960 kilograms (17,550 lb)) staff with ease. He is also extremely fast, able to travel 108,000 li (21,675 kilometres (13,468 mi)) in one somersault. Sun knows 72 transformations, which allow him to transform into various animals and objects; however, he has trouble transforming into other forms, due to the accompanying incomplete transformation of his tail. Sun Wukong is a skilled fighter, capable of defeating the best warriors of heaven.

Toy soldier collection sold for US$50,000 (S$66,180)

And in yesterday's newspaper:

LONDON • A collection of miniature figures, believed to be the world's biggest, has been sold at an auction in England to an army of global collectors for about US$50,000 (S$66,180).

The figures belonged to Mr Carmelo Mazzotta, who collected more than a quarter of a million toy soldiers over a lifetime. Mr Mazzotta lived in the city of Bristol until his death in 2016 at the age of 55 from leukaemia. His sister Anita said her brother always wanted to be a soldier himself. Speaking to reporters ahead of the sale of his massive toy collection at the Wessex Auction Rooms in Chippenham, she said: "He was a bit of a Peter Pan. He never wanted to grow up. So, in a way, he was enacting his dreams.

"He was like a general with his armies. He could pinpoint where any particular soldier was, and he knew all the different regiments."

The collection took up an entire double garage with a mezzanine floor in Mr Mazzotta's home, and has grown over the years since he started his collection at the age of eight.

Customised 1:1 scale Star Wars Jedi pilot helmet

Most recently I was commissioned to design and paint an actual size (1:1 scale) helicopter pilot's helmet as a gift to someone important who was leaving his place of work and the people there felt that he deserved to be sent off with something meaningful, something to remind him of the many years of dedication and service he had given to his organisation. When the helmet was first handed to me, it was as plain and green as it could be (see pics in the post), totally nondescript as was the original intent. My job was to turn it around and make it stand out and carry the right message, to honor the person who once went by the callsign "Jedi". So I did and added a nice display case to showcase the helmet too.

I don't think the Jedi ever wore helmets when they flew their ships so I had to ask myself the question: what if the Jedi did wear helmets, how would the helmets look like in terms of design? There was a restriction in terms of colors because the actual helicopter that callsign "Jedi" flew were red and white so we kept to the color scheme which was also very similar to the helmets the X-Wing pilots wore in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. This is the recently released IHNS Toys SO-00001 1/6th scale The Cave scene platform. I don't usually get diorama sets as I prefer to keep all the space I have for collectible figures but found myself drawn to this set from the preview pictures posted (see the toy blog post HERE) and couldn't resist not getting it. This 1/6th scale Cave scene platform is designed for you to shoot photos with your figure in it to add a level of realism to the picture by adding texture and background. It comes with extra accessories so that you can customise the scene and create more options when you are shooting.

I've posted pictures of other diorama sets before. Some of them are quite large (like the Red Diorama "I shot the bus driver" scene posted HERE) while others are smaller (Red Diorama "Throne" scene - pics HERE and Red Diorama "Gateway Light Up Base" scene posted HERE). Ultraman is a Japanese tokusatsu television series that first aired in 1966. Ultraman staunchly defends Earth against aliens and monsters (called kaiju in Japan), with Shin Hayata and the SSSP (Science Special Search Party) assisting him. Shin Hayata's body hosts Ultraman until he is needed. When Ultraman first appears, his "color timer," or "warning light," is always a rich cyan color. As time goes on, the color timer turns solid red, and then starts to blink, giving off a warning chime as it does so. When Ultraman runs out of energy, the color timer goes out, and turns black. Ultraman's color timer is linked directly to his heart, and damaging it will cause mortal injury or serious pain to Ultraman.
