The Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) is a family of American automatic rifles and machine guns used by the United States and numerous other countries during the 20th century. The primary variant of the BAR series was the M1918, chambered for the .30-06 Springfield rifle cartridge and designed by John Browning in 1917 for the U.S. Expeditionary Corps in Europe as a replacement for the French-made Chauchat and M1909 Benét–Mercié machine guns that US forces had previously been issued.

The BAR was designed to be carried by infantrymen during an assault advance while supported by the sling over the shoulder, or to be fired from the hip.

SCDF Exoskeleton to be worn by firefighters

The SCDF Exoskeleton, developed jointly with local engineering company Hope Technik and the Ministry of Home Affairs, was unveiled at its annual workplan seminar on Wednesday (April 18). A frame to be worn by firefighters, the Exoskeleton bears the weight of firefighting equipment and comes with pneumatic pistons that will help to push firefighters up when they are climbing stairs.

Looks like the suit we saw in the 2013 science fiction action thriller film Elysium is all too real. Damtoys’ release of Edward Kenway 1/6th scale collectible figure, protagonist from Ubisoft classic action-adventure video game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, received much attention from fans. Since them, we’ve put our shoulders to the wheel to release the Assassin's Creed Altaïr the Mentor 1/6th scale collectible figure.

Altaïr, a Syrian assassin of the Middle Ages, earned the title of Master Assassin at age 25. He was tasked to destroy the nine-men Templar Order in the Holy Land. During the year-long task, Altaïr gradually changed his ways and liberated the Kingdom from their corrupted rule, but discovered an even more sinister conspiracy as the mission progressed. Upon killing the nine men and the Assassins’ traitor, then Mentor Al Mualim, Altaïr became Mentor, taking the Assassins to a new era.

Damtoys has specially chosen to use a 31cm tall, highly poseable body based on the CG character’s shape and proportion.
