Certainly, Hot Toys has been the master-lord of Head Sculpt likeness, but their 1/6 figures are almost twice the price. And when ThreeA has made mistakes (very few) they have redone complete 1/6 lines and mailed them back as a bonus itmes, letting customers keep the botched versions (Tomorrow Queen and the Zombie 2.0s). You basically get no response from Hot Toys unless you complain to Sideshow Toys.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3516693355743712750.post-18900323051239352292011-12-24T07:54:51.494+08:002011-12-24T07:54:51.494+08:00ThreeA figures are awesome in their own right, but...ThreeA figures are awesome in their own right, but I don't think it's really fair to compare head sculpt detail and paint on a Hot Toys figure with a ThreeA figure. Hot Toys' clothing and especially paint are much more complex and intricate. Also, given the subject material (based on a real character in a movie or show), consistency is so important. ThreeA, being a bit more 'artistic,' consistency is not that important, they can get away with it and the figure still looks good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3516693355743712750.post-29454571032587417572011-12-18T13:54:28.201+08:002011-12-18T13:54:28.201+08:00This will make Fox Studio a major player in the 1/...This will make Fox Studio a major player in the 1/6 world. Additionally, this company's high quality and design sensibilities will push Hot Toys into caring much more about their quality control and consistency when it comes into translating paint applications to larger production numbers. (They've had some legitimate complaints as of late with Captain America's head sculpt and sewing problems on Superman and rubber issues with Batman Begins Exclusive). I would, though, say that ThreeA is the best in the business--dollar to dollar--in terms of product quality and consistency, creativity, fan support, customer service and overall website and facebook contact. It seriously makes no sense why Hot Toys still doesn't have it's shitty corporate website up and running and they ignore constructive criticism by caring customers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3516693355743712750.post-74546399139120961712011-12-17T06:08:07.683+08:002011-12-17T06:08:07.683+08:00another BEAUTIFUL figure from this series... so ar...another BEAUTIFUL figure from this series... so artfulSuper-Duper ToyBoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08858607320711118146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3516693355743712750.post-21463676587753439332011-12-16T18:05:20.221+08:002011-12-16T18:05:20.221+08:00Just...WOW!Just...WOW!CheungKinMenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10645731833210355564noreply@blogger.com
