Metropolitan Police Officer riding his Harley

Hasbro does produce some nice vehicles at a very reasonable price. Check out the details of the bike here.

There's also CHP riding Harley FLH1200.

CHP on Harley FLH1200

Finally, the CHP officer can ride his Harley-Davidson FLH1200

Off to patrol L.A.'s freeways, Malibu and the Sunset Strip

There's also Metro Police riding his Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide.

Harley-Davidson FLH1200 Police Motorcycle

Seeing the CHP officer without his bike really irked me. Every rider deserves his bike and since there were no 1/6 Harley-Davidson Police toy bike then, I decided to do the unthinkable - I bought the Tamiya 1/6 Harley-Davidson FLH1200 Police Motorcycle and proceeded to try my hand at piecing it together, motivated by my desire to see the CHP riding his police bike. Not much of a modeller but at least I could follow the instructions. The kit was very detailed and I had to put the engine and other parts together and in the end, some of the intricate parts get covered up after everything had been assembled. It was painstaking but the end result was worth it, I think!

This bike has survived one move already. Hope it can survive another - probably gotta hand carry, can't take chances with the movers.

CHiPs - California Highway Patrol (CHP)

Remember CHiPs, the TV series starring Erik Estrada as CHP Officer Francis ('Frank') "Ponch" Poncherello and Larry Wilcox as his strait-laced partner, Officer Jon Baker?

Takara produced this Combat Joe CHP back in the 80s. At that time, the CHP uniform was one of the best outfits. Along with the pants, shirt with CHP badge and a white sleeveless undershirt, Combat Joe had a crash helmet, sunglasses, and black rubber riding boots.

The accessories were stunning too - the gunbelt had the holster for the officer’s revolver, an ammo case for two quick-reloads of bullets, a case for his handcuffs, a loop ring for his baton, and all the gear needed to fill these.

The Bone Collector (1999)

This figure reminds me of Angelina Jolie from "The Bone Collector" (1999), a mystery-thriller also starring Denzel Washington. Angelina Jolie plays a rookie patrol cop, Amelia Donaghy, who teams up with Denzel's character, Lincoln Rhyme, to solve a string of murders committed by the perpetrator who removes a single shard of bone from each of the victims.

A much better female headsculpt than "winona's".

NYPD ESU "Winona" by Dragon 2000

Winona is a Sniper Team Observer from the NYPD ESU. She is equipped with the Steyr SSG 69 sniper rifle and comes with binoculars and the drag bag for the rifle, besides the usual stuff that an ESU officer would normally carry. There is the added touch of keys for the handcuffs.

She's supposed to look like Winona Ryder from films like Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands (with Johnny Depp) and Alien Resurrection but we all know her best as the shoplifting star who helped bring awareness to Kleptomania. She looks rather anime-like, quite disappointing from Dragon which actually produced a very nice female, Linh - VC Scout.
