Now a comparison of two Obi-Wans,
Clone War Obi-Wan Kenobi and
Episode III Obi-Wan Kenobi since they are supposed to be one and the same person/actor.
Old Ben Kenobi is too far in the future, perhaps a comparison of Sideshow old Ben and Hasbro's old Ben another time.
First, let's compare head sculpts - pretty close (what do you think?)
This picture should be captioned, "Save the cheerleader, save the world" - ha! ha!
"Back to the Future" anyone?
Watch your back. Trust no one
May the Force be with you!
Is it just me, or does it seem like the Obi-Wan head sculpt has actually regressed? Seems like the earlier version was far more acurate than the newer one. How does that happen? Shouldn't they be getting better?
ReplyDeleteI rather prefer the clone version. Overall it has a more appealing look as compared to the dark haired and slightly sun burnt face of the earlier obi. The upcoming Jedi version of obi looks promising as well.
ReplyDeletehey dash, by earlier version you mean Episode III Obi-Wan? I think Sideshow based that on the actor Ewan McGregor and when they did General Obi-Wan which happens to be years before Episode III and since he isn't played by an actor but was actually a cartoon character, Sideshow tried to make a younger looking Ewan (notice more hair, less receding hairline and more youthful looking face). That's my take on the character.
