Shark Attack!

In the movie "Thunderball (1965)" - see previous post, Sean Connery as James Bond did come face-to-face with sharks. Connery's life was in danger in the sequence with the sharks in Largo's pool. He had insisted that Ken Adam (the production designer) build a special Plexiglas partition inside the pool but, despite this, it was not a fixed structure and one of the sharks managed to pass through it. Connery had to abandon the pool immediately, seconds away from attack.

Sideshow's 1/6 scale 12-inch Sean Connery James Bond meets 1/6 scale shark!

I got this Illuminated Shark Model with dissectible body cavity from the National Geographic shop in VivoCity. Always liked cut-away cross-sectional view models and this great white shark just fits the bill nicely.

It has a clear shark's body on one side, shark muscles, glow-in-the-dark spine and skull, stomach, intestine and spiral valve, gill and circulatory system, liver, mouth and jaws! All the skeleton and organs can be removed. Only thing you can't do is make Shark's fin soup.

Say: "JAWS!!"

Other COOL cut-away model kits I own and have posted: Targa World War II Tiger I Tank (link here) and Bandai's Space Battleship Yamato Mechanic File Set (link here)

Another great white posted earlier here, as part of the Action Man Deep Sea Mission set

  3. I was waiting to see that little Kintner kid inside the shark's stomach.
"This is not the time or the place to perform some kind of a half-assed autopsy on a fish... And I'm not going to stand here and see that thing cut open and see that little Kintner boy spill out all over the dock."
