Wolverine on top

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" clawed its way into the No.1 spot at the weekend box office in Singapore and around the world. The movie, starring Hugh Jackman in the title role, earned US$87 million (S$129 million) in takings in the United States. The US$140 million plus production has already made US$160 million worldwide.

Hugh Jackman has to thank the role of Wolverine for putting him in the public's eye and for being voted 2008's Sexiest Man Alive by PEOPLE magazine (see post here)

Wolverine's so popular Medicom released two 1/6 scale 12-inch RAH (Real Action Heroes) Wolverines - the Marvel comic version (more pictures here) as well as the movie version

And Wolverine has been a favorite subject for many toy companies
