This is the BEST Blade figure by far and the details are all there for a 1/6 collectible figure!! Glad I didn't pick up Medicom's two versions of Blade. They both pale in comparison and let's not even talk about the Marvel Studios Blade action figure. Release date: Q1, 2010

Artists info: Head Sculpt by So Young Lee and Head Paint by JC Hong

UPDATE March 3, 2010: Review of Hot Toys BLADE Figure in hand. It's even better than this!

  1. Barring Star Wars figures, I think it's safe to say we can ignore every other 12 inch figure company in the hopes Hot Toys will do their version of it, lol. I really hope they do Snake from Metal Gear Solid because I know they'll do a fantastic job.

HT Blade looks incredible! I hope they do more horror movies next!

  2. Almost agree with you there Michelle except Hot Toys will ignore the lesser known figures which other 1/6 companies might take up which is good for us collectors. Case-in-point: Leon by Heroic and Josh Randall by Triad Toys :)

  3. Alex, I think Hot Toys didn't actually get the likeness of Snipes. I think ToyBiz did a great job on Snipes's head sculpt as I got it from CSC last year. Of coarse, the outfits and accessories are well made by Hot Toys :p

  6. Yeah, I'd say the likeness is pretty preliminary at best...look forward to the final version.

@lex- you should talk about the Marvel Studios version - real scan technology was used to capture Snipes' likeness...
