As a young boy, Wayne R. Sneeden was tormented by his peers and lived a poverty-stricken life in Auburn, Alabama. He went through Airborne and Ranger school in the U.S. Army, and his character was tested when he took a dangerous assignment as a Covert Ops advisor in Central America. His advanced training and skill caught the attention of the G.I. JOE team, America's most elite fighting squadron, and Sneeden adopted the code name BEACHHEAD as he became the team's ranger. He quickly gained a reputation as a composed and stalwart soldier, holding himself and his fellow Joes to extremely high standards.
Sideshow's upcoming 1/6 scale 12-inch G.I. Joe figure "Beachhead" is outfitted in an OD "woolie pullie" sweater, camo'd BDU style trousers, black assault vest, black combat boots, and OD balaclava (molded onto the head sculpt). love this figure.
ReplyDeletehope to buy him
I love the look of this figure. I'm sorely tempted to get it, just as I'm sorely tempted to pick up Flint.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the expression on his un-masked face - it totally captures who Beachhead is - a grouchy Ranger :P
i think for this type of army dress figure , nows a days , VeryHot from China design and price is better.
ReplyDeletehi guys, I agree that this figure is NICE as Sideshow stayed close to the original look of the character.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of the 3-3/4" Joe world but I'm quickly becoming a fan of the 12" counterparts. This figure looks amazing. It does come with the second head, right? The one without the balaclava.
ReplyDeleteHi Ian, the second head is only available if you purchase the Sideshow EXCLUSIVE version which is pretty hard to come by as they usually sell out very fast once pre-orders are open on their site.
