continued from my earlier post...
This is the Brother Production Crazy Killer Collection Series 170 1/6 scale Cab Driver "Travis" with Mohawk haircut, an obvious homage to Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle in "Taxi Driver", a 1976 American drama film directed by Martin Scorsese. In this post, we see Travis without his M-65 jacket, revealing what's underneath: Left-hand side leather shoulder holster for the Smith & Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum Revolver, Right-hand side shoulder holster for the Smith & Wesson Model 36 and hip pocket holster for the Astra Constable.
Travis Bickle: "I ride around most nights - subways, buses - but you know, if I'm gonna do that I might as well get paid for it."
He becomes a night time taxi driver in order to cope with his chronic insomnia, working 12-hour shifts nearly every night, carrying passengers around all five boroughs of New York City.
Disgusted by the petty street crime (especially prostitution) that he witnesses while driving through the city, he now finds a focus for his frustration after being dumped by Betsy (Cybill Shepherd) and begins a program of intense physical training to rid the city of the "trash off the sidewalk."
Travis Bickle: "June twenty-ninth. I gotta get in shape. Too much sitting has ruined my body. Too much abuse has gone on for too long. From now on there will be 50 pushups each morning, 50 pullups. There will be no more pills, no more bad food, no more destroyers of my body. From now on will be total organization. Every muscle must be tight."
Travis Bickle: "Now I see this clearly. My whole life is pointed in one direction. There never has been a choice for me."
Travis Bickle: "I think someone should just take this city and just... just flush it down the f**kin' toilet."
Travis Bickle (Robert De Niro) cuts away the right sleeve of his white long sleeve shirt so that he can attach the forearm drawer slide thingy which he had fashioned himself.

Hip pocket holster for the Astra Constable. In the film, this is the only handgun Travis buys that he doesn't keep in any sort of holster, choosing instead to tuck it in the waistband of the small of his back. He hands it to the grocery store owner (Victor Argo) after killing the robber with it.

Travis Bickle (Robert De Niro) purchases four handguns from "Easy Andy" (Steven Prince), the illegal gun salesman. The first of which is a Smith & Wesson Model 29 with an 8 3/8" barrel, the longest factory barrel made for the S&W Model 29 during this time period. Travis apparently gets the idea of owning a .44 Magnum from one of his passengers (played by director Martin Scorsese) who claims he will use it to murder his cheating wife.
The smaller right-hand side holster for the Smith & Wesson Model 36
Travis constructs a drawer slide arm mount for the Smith & Wesson Escort. He then attaches the Smith & Wesson Escort to the drawer slide, mounting it on his forearm and later using it during the final shootout.

The NEXT post will see Travis with his shades and M65 jacket on as he's about to make history.
I have this figure already the body is very very cheap you must change as soon as possible with a hot toys or ttl body, because this is very loose in every angle, the cloths are pretty good but cheap too a part the jacket very well made, the head sculpt are nice and I suggest to take this figure because Travis from brother production is less expensive than the crm toys but quite good...bye
