Having seen the box packaging, basic Berserker Predator out of the box and the contents including accessories in the earlier post, now let's see how the Hot Toys MMS130 (Movie Masterpiece Series) 1/6th scale 14-inch tall Berserker Predator Collectible Figure from the "Predators (2010)" movie looks like with its mask on.
The Predator's hunting helmet (also called Bio Mask) increases its ability to see in a variety of spectrums, ranging from the low infrared to the high ultraviolet, and also filters the ambient heat from the area, allowing them to see things with greater clarity and detail. Housed within the helmet is a targeting and tracking system for the shoulder-mounted energy weapon or plasma casters.
These "Black Super Predators" from "Predators (2010)" are more superior to the classic alien Predators and apparently there is a blood-feud occurring between two different tribes of Predator.
The Hot Toys Berserker Predator is now fully equipped with its mask, articulated shoulder cannon and one of the three interchangeable metal blades of different lengths

The light-up face mask is SWEET. The mask with LED light-up function was first engineered with the classic Predator figure (see my review HERE) and is now a standard item with all Hot Toys Predator masks.

How does the 1/6 scale Berserker Predator face mask light up? First you have to unscrew the battery lid / cover to put in the cell battery (included and packed together with the Instruction Sheet)
Then you have to connect the wire from the mask to the socket located at the back of the neck. I've removed the 1/6 Berserker Predator head sculpt to show where the socket is. It's white in color and you can also see the ON / OFF switch just in front of it.
Once the face mask or bio mask is connected and the switch is turned ON, the mask should light up!
In the movie, the Predators wear their hunting masks on almost throughout the film. In fact, we only see the Berserker Predator's face at the end when it meets the classic Predator. I'll be posting pictures of how the Berserker Predator looks without its face mask and with open mandibles in the NEXT POST.
