  2. Hi, if you are local i.e. living in Singapore, you can order from The Falcon's Hangar (http://www.tfh.com.sg/) although I don't think this item is up for pre-order yet but you can check with them via email. If you are overseas, you can check back to see when Sideshow Collectibles start taking pre-orders (the banners appear on the left and right side bars of my blog) and place your pre-order then. Good idea to pre-order as Hot Toys items are usually sold through pre-orders and if you wait till the product is released, chances are you won't be getting any or end up paying quite a sum for it as prices would have skyrocketed CHEERS

  4. As much as this version looks great. (better than the orginal which I have) The iron man series has been over produced its just become a money making exercise. Hot toys Should concentrate on other figures which they promised I.e. Superman.Metal gear solid. Platoon. .......
    Many Thanks Joneefubar ;)

  6. Hi, I didn't get the first version Mark II because I felt it was more or less a repaint of the Mark III which I have. I felt that Hot Toys was just milking it by releasing two similar armors with different paint work to empty collectors' wallets. Who else does that? Sideshow Collectibles with their armor troopers from Star Wars - lots of Clone Troopers with different paint jobs BUT at least their pricing is slightly better.

This new version Mark II is much BETTER because it is different from the others and I do like the revealing of the internal exoskeleton details :)

  7. Agree with you guys. HT is taking IM series as one of their main cash cows & keep milking it. If only I didn't get the ver 1, no doubt I'll get this ver 2. For all die-hard IM fans, I'm sure this new version is a MUST!

I'm torn in between. I own (& have PO) all the IM series including Mark 2 ver 1 so do I still want to get the new version after-all the new ver does appears to be much better than the first ver. The internal exoskeleton details are really tempting! On the other hand, I'm quite upset with HT cos I waited so long for the other characters: Superman, Avatar, Resident Evil Alice, etc & until now still no news while HT is busy announcing Johnny Depp again (Jack Sparrow & Sweeny Todd) & IM again. :(

  8. hey Paul, you should get it if you like it :) if not, you're going to regret it haha as for the other figures, a little patience i guess since we already waited for so long (i've been collecting since 1994 and have learnt to wait for things to happen; what else can we do?)

as for those we aren't keen on, at least we can give our wallets and pockets a rest CHEERS & happy collecting

  9. hi alex!do you have any advice for how to maintain these HT figures(esp iron man)?worried tt e pvc will become tacky quickly due to e weather here in sg.planning to display my figures in detolfs.your older collection still looks awesome as though brand new!:D

  10. hey 6UD, HT figures are made of the highest quality and the plastic they use do not become tacky or sticky like those you experience with the low end low quality soft plastic toys from China haha. good idea to display the figures in detolfs because that helps to keep the dust out and makes it easier to maintain. i keep all my figures in glass display cabinets and only take them out to clean once in a while i.e wiping away the dust with a dry cloth or anti-static duster, no chemicals or detergents because you never know how the paint will react to the chemicals. remember to keep the display away from direct sunlight! HAPPY collecting CHEERS
