CooModel U.S. Military M14 Sniper Rifle PREVIEW

The M14 rifle (formally the United States Rifle, 7.62 mm, M14) is an American selective fire automatic rifle firing 7.62x51mm NATO (.308 Winchester) ammunition. It was the standard issue U.S. rifle from 1959 to 1970. [source: wiki]

The M14 was used for U.S. Army and Marine Corps basic and advanced individual training, and was the standard issue infantry rifle in CONUS (Contiguous United States), Europe, and South Korea. The M14 remained the primary infantry weapon in Vietnam until it was replaced by the M16 in 1966–1967.

This is the CooModel 1/6 scaled highly detailed U.S. military M14 sniper rifle. This isn't the real thing but a 1:6 scale ABS model comprising 36 pieces, completely detachable into component parts with Dual-mode combination: Vietnam era long barrel version or Modern era short barrel version.

You start with the standard weapon and can upgrade to the M21 sniper rifle with the sniper scope. Switch over to the shorter the barrel, add the smaller scope, and you can have a SOCOM style M14. You can even add extras like the shoulder stock bullet carrier, suppressor and removable bipod.

Although the M14 was phased out as the standard-issue rifle by 1970, M14 variants are still used by various branches of the U.S. Military as well as other armed forces, especially as a sniper rifle and as a designated marksman rifle, due to its excellent accuracy and effectiveness at long range.

Since the start of the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars, many M14s have been employed as designated marksman and sniper rifles. These are not M21 rifles, but original production M14s. Common modifications include scopes, fiberglass stocks, and other accessories.

This CooModel U.S. Military M14 Sniper Rifle has insane details and parts. They've included the long and short barrel plus the different scopes. The long barrel is the 'Nam era and the shortie is used in modern combat. There's the rifle magazine or clip with removable bullets and also the pouch for holding them strapped to the butt stock. There's also the essential M2 Bipod for sniping.

Check out the picture below of this CooModel 1/6 scaled highly detailed U.S. military M14 sniper rifle which can be stripped into 36 pieces. Tell me if that isn't insane or real enough for you. These weapon sets are getting really nice with all the options and modularity.
