I really enjoyed the Justice League animated series and love the style in which they were rendered. Animator Bruce Timm, having successfully adapted both Batman and Superman into animated television programs in the 1990s, took on the challenge of adapting the Justice League comic book and turning it into an animated sequel to his two former animated series.

This new animated TV series brought all sorts of new characters. Ignoring the sidekicks, pets, and other elements of the earlier Super Friends show, the line-up of this new Justice League of America (JLA) adaptation was created with two things in mind: to pay tribute to the original line-up of the JLA while also reflecting racial and cultural diversity. After its second season, it became Justice League Unlimited, and ran an additional two seasons.
The follow-up series, Justice League Unlimited, which premiered on July 31, 2004, featured a greatly expanded roster of heroes, usually with only a few appearing in any given episode, although there are a few featuring just about the entire roster fighting against one giant enemy. [source: wiki]
And these are some of my latest additions :) So here's a peek for now: Big Barda - born of the race of New Gods on Apokolips and trained as a warrior.
Lobo - an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter. Although introduced as a hardened, rarely-used noir villain in the 1980s, he languished in limbo until his revival as an anti-hero biker in the early 1990s. The character enjoyed a short run as one of DC’s most popular characters throughout the 1990s.
Justice Lord Hawkgirl, a member of the Justice Lords in a parallel universe. After Superman executed President Luthor, the Justice Lords took part in bringing peace to Earth by placing it under their harsh rule. At some point in this period, Justice Lord Hawkgirl shed her traditional costume and replaced it with a new one, while also wearing a new mask.
Parademons are a fictional group of aliens in the DC Comics Universe. They are monstrous shock troops of Apokolips used by Darkseid to maintain order of the planet. The original Parademons were created by Jack Kirby in The New Gods #1 (1971).

Darkseid is one of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe. Debuting in the Bronze Age of Comic Books, he has appeared in four decades of DC Comics publications, featuring prominently in the New Gods titles and limited series as the recurring nemesis of the New Gods and Superman.
Kalibak is the first-born son of Darkseid. Kalibak becomes a legendary warrior, and often serves as Darkseid's second-in-command. After Darkseid breaks the pact of peace with New Genesis, the rival planet of Kalibak's home Apokolips, he aids his father in the resulting battles.
