Review II: "Resident Evil: Afterlife" Alice 12-inch Collectible Figure by Hot Toys

As promised, here are more pictures of the exceptional female action figure (NOT Barbie doll or dollie!) that is Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series MMS139 movie-accurate 1/6 scale Milla Jovovich as "Resident Evil: Afterlife" Alice 12-inch collectible figure. This figure is specially crafted based on the image of Milla Jovovich in the latest "Resident Evil: Afterlife" movie, highlighting the newly sculpted head, detailed costume and weapons.

Having reviewed the box packaging and contents in my earlier post HERE, with close-up pictures of the realistic 1/6 scale head sculpt of Milla Jovovich as "Resident Evil: Afterlife" Alice including detailed costume and weapons, this blog post is all about Alice armed with her weapons and she certainly looks good wielding them. Milla is totally believable as an action woman as she takes on the Umbrella Corporation and all the baddies, as well as the undead / zombies. And she looks good doing it as well Hubba Hubba!

Here's Hot Toys 1/6 scale Milla Jovovich as Alice 12-inch collectible figure with her pair of Heckler & Koch MP5Ks. The MP5K, a Maschinenpistole in the purest sense of the word. 'K' in German stands for Kurz, or 'short.' Introduced in 1976, the MP5K was designed at the request of HK South American sales rep, who saw a market for dignitary protection and increased firepower in a small package. It is a very well worn Motion picture weapon, don't you think?

Alice (Milla Jovovich) uses an Heckler & Koch MP5K that is thrown to her by Claire when the survivors are fighting off zombies on the prison rooftop. She uses it until it runs empty.

When Alice uses the MP5K, she fires it standing straight up and with two hands; no fancy footwork and no drama. It's just a few humans against a whole horde of zombies!

Alice (Milla Jovovich) keeps a pair of Sawed-Off 12-Gauge Double Barreled Shotguns in a dual rig setup on her back. She keeps her straight-bladed odachi japanese sword in sheath in between the two shotguns.

Alice's pair of 5" barreled Smith & Wesson Model 460V revolvers are holstered in a dual shoulder rig setup. All her weapons are kept close by her side and within easy reach for when she needs them.

Alice (Milla Jovovich) carries a pair of 5" barreled Smith & Wesson Model 460V revolvers. At one point in the movie, she hands them off to both Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller) and Crystal (Kacey Barnfield). Alice is then seen using them to shoot through a horde of zombies in the prison yard, and tosses them away when they are empty so she can use her double barreled shotguns.

Here are some shots of Hot Toys "Resident Evil: Afterlife" Alice 12-inch Collectible Figure with her pair of 5" barreled Smith & Wesson Model 460V revolvers. Milla Jovovich as Alice handles them like a pro :)

Last but not least, Alice (Milla Jovovich) wields a pair of Sawed-Off 12-Gauge Double Barreled Shotguns after she has emptied her revolvers. She fills her shotgun shells with quarters (killing zombies with American currency) to create more damage and spread. In reality, these would not fit in even the most overbored 12 gauge barrel (standard sizes is 18.5mm-20.3mm, a quarter is 24mm). Pennies and dimes are the only coins that would fit a twelve guage. Claire Redfield (Ali Larter) also uses one of Alice's shotguns during her confrontation with the Executioner.

In the NEXT post, we see Hot Toys Alice with her edged weapons / knives. Knives were used as a last ditch effort to kill a zombie when there isn't any ammo remaining. However in the hands of an expert, the Knife can be utilized as a very effective tool as can be seen in the film when they are in the hands of Alice (Milla Jovovich)
