Asmus Toys 1/6th scale Detective Somerset suit set for 12-inch figures – Clint and Morgan

Remember how I talked / blogged about 1/6th scale Man's Fashion and how the market had grown to such an extent that companies don't even bother producing figures any more (see my earlier post HERE); manufacturers just concentrate on producing and releasing 1/6th scale outfits instead, seeing as how the market is already flooded with lots of 12-inch figures. Well, here's another set of clothing to add to that list :)

Asmus Toys will be releasing this 1/6th scale Detective Somerset suit set consisting of One Brown jacket, One light orange stripe shirt, One brown patterned tie, One Dark Brown pair pants, One black leather belt and One pair of black shoes. Doesn't look like much until the clothes are fitted on a 12-inch figure :)

One of my favorite actors and directors - Mr Clinton "Clint" Eastwood, Jr. (born May 31, 1930), an American film actor, director, producer, composer and politician. Eastwood first came to prominence as a supporting cast member in the TV series Rawhide (1959–1965). He rose to fame for playing the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone's Dollars trilogy of spaghetti westerns (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) during the late 1960s, and as Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry films (Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact, and The Dead Pool) throughout the 1970s and 1980s. These roles, among others, have made him an enduring cultural icon of masculinity.

Asmus Toys 1/6th scale Detective Somerset suit set fits 12-inch Mr Eastwood to a T as Dirty Harry, the tough no-nonsense cop who was a loose-cannon and wouldn't give a damn except to bring criminals to justice.

Interestingly enough, the Asmus Toys 1/6th scale Detective Somerset suit set would also fit a 12-inch Morgan Freeman as Detective Lt. William Somerset (that's where the suit gets its name from ;p) from the 1995 American thriller film "Seven (sometimes stylized as Se7en)" about newly-transferred Detective David Mills (Brad Pitt) and the soon-to-retire William Somerset (Morgan Freeman), two homicide detectives who become deeply involved in the case of a sadistic serial killer played by the chilling and convincing Kevin Spacey. Each meticulously-planned murder corresponds to one of the seven deadly sins: gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, pride, lust and envy.

So if you need a good looking Detective suit, you know where to look ;p

  7. Any idea who produced the body? Or, more to the point, would you have any recommendations as to a body that might suit both the HeadPlay Eastwood head and the suit?
