Finally: Ending the year with a bang! Hot Toys actually plans to release something NEW instead of releasing or re-releasing something from the overdone (done to death) lines like Batman, Iron Man, Predators and Terminator
In view of the popularity of the G.I. Joe series and the launch of the G.I. Joe Retaliation movie in early 2013, Hot Toys is proud to present the Snake Eyes Collectible Figure from the G.I. Joe Retaliation movie as the first collaboration with Hasbro. The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Snake Eyes in his black “military ninja” bodysuit in the movie, highlighting the character’s image, highly detailed costume and weapons.

It'll be interesting to see how this is in comparison to the Snake Eyes that Sideshow have put out - Hot Toys production quality always seems to be slightly higher.
ReplyDeleteBetween Hot Toys and Sideshow, I think Hot Toys win in terms of production quality hands down. This looks so much better than the one Sideshow put out years ago plus their version 2.0 as well. Definitely getting this one and am glad I never picked up Sideshow's versions ;p
ReplyDeleteHaha... That's one of my first thoughts too, that I didn't pull the trigger with SS's Snake Eyes 2. Think this HT fig looks great, hope it won't be too expensive. Alas, fans are going to need a Timber to go with this fig. Perhaps some 3rd party 1/6th manufacturers will take it up (",)
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a must own figure to any G.I. Joe fan or Hot Toys collector. I think this is the perfect Snake Eyes you'll ever have.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I waited as well. The sideshow snake eyes still seemed a little off to me and I didn't feel like the line of figures warranted $200 a figure! I thought I was finally gonna get a break from Hot Toys, I guessed wrong! Lol! J
ReplyDeleteIt's difficult to differentiate the figure from the actual actor shot, which is good. As of now THIS will be the best Snake Eyes figure released. I shipped the latest Snake Eyes release because it just plain looked bad to me. This however looks simply AWESOME... With no extras this will be $230-$245 I bet.
