Nowadays, as a 1/6 scale or 12-inch action figure collector, you'll be spoilt for choice. There are so many companies and 1/6 scale manufacturers gunning for your wallet and hard-earned money that you have to choose carefully. Unfortunately, the prices of 1/6 scale items have also gone up rather significantly, leaving us with very little purchasing power compared to before.
For quite a number of items / products, there tend to be one or two choices for the same item. An example would be The Avengers Tony Stark attire / outfit: both MC Toys and Asmus Toys released almost identical sets (see my post HERE). Another example is the 1/6 scale Daniel Craig as James Bond 12-inch figure. There are at least three versions coming out - NAT "The Agent" Limited Edition 12-inch Figure (pictures HERE), ZCWO's new 1/6 scale Ab02 Normal Size Male Body with Daniel Craig's head sculpt and ZCWO's newest Mens Hommes Men's Fashion MH Vol. 13 black tuxedo suit set (posted earlier HERE and HERE) plus Brother Production Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 12-inch figure (previewed HERE). And now there's this MC Toys 1/6 scale Grey Polartec Ranger Hoodie set.
In my previous post HERE, I had covered the incoming CooModel 1/6 scale COD (Call Of Duty) Ghost (Riley) TAD Fleece Jacket set which was a very basic set to start kitbashing your very own 1/6 scale Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley, a British special forces operator in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2", "Modern Warfare 2: Ghost" and "Find Makarov: Operation Kingfish". Well, this happens to be the MC Toys version.
MC Toys 1/6 scale Grey Polartec Ranger Hoodie set (Item #MCM-013) will consist of Grey Polartec Ranger Hoodie, Battleship Grey Force 10 Cargo Pant, Skull pattern scarf, SKULL Morale PATCH, Relief PATCH, Skull Belt, Beanie, Tee / T-shirt.
I think this outfit set looks much nicer than the CooModel version I covered in the previous post. I much prefer the darker colors of this MC Toys 1/6 scale Grey Polartec Ranger Hoodie set than the CooModel COD (Call Of Duty) Ghost (Riley) TAD Fleece Jacket set.
Scroll down to see more pictures. This is definitely a good start if you are thinking of kitbashing your own version of Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley from Call of Duty.
