Can you guess who Very Hot Toys 1/6 scale Spy (with Head and 12-inch Body) is supposed to be?

Whenever the word "Spy" appears in the 1/6 scale world of 12-inch collectible figures, it's usually associated with a particular Caucasian / White male figure who also goes by three-numbers. The figure is none other than the fictional British Secret Service agent character James Bond created by writer Ian Fleming. James Bond is an intelligence officer in the Secret Intelligence Service, commonly known as MI6. Bond is also known by his code number, 007.

So when Very Hot announced that they were releasing a 1/6 scale Spy 12-inch figure with Head and Body, I expected to see another rendition of Daniel Craig as James Bond (there have been so many versions of Craig Bond released so far) but lo and behold, it turns out Very Hot's 1/6 scale Spy is anything but white; in fact, he looks to be of dark skin origin, and appears to be an African American and when it comes to 1/6 scale African American head sculpts, usually the same few suspects come to mind: Will Smith (lots of 1/6 scale head sculpts with his likeness floating in the 12-inch figure market) or Morgan Freeman. Kaustic Plastik did release a African American figure with Terry Crews head as well as that of Al Matthews (he played Sergeant Al Apone in the 1986 science fiction action film "Aliens"). You can check out the head sculpt HERE.

So who can tell which 12-inch SPY figure Very Hot Toys is going to release? Who is he supposed to be and which African American played a spy character in recent times? Your guess is as good as mine ;p How about Jamie Foxx (recently seen as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2)? or Laurence Fishburne (he of The Matrix fame)?

Someone on the forums mentioned Amaury Nolasco: he was in Transformers and Prison Break but I think the skin is too dark to be him.

The tailoring on the jacket doesn't look very well done. The sleeves are too short. Let's hope Very Hot rectifies this before putting it out for sale.

The 1/6 scale accessories look good though. Lots of kitbash potential

This looks like a cool figure, and the head sculpt looks good with the shades / sunglasses on. But with the shades taken off (see picture below), he looks rather constipated, like he's taking a dump LOL
