Check out another Kotobukiya DC Comics Wonder Woman ARTFX 12-inch tall statue

Wonder Woman is a superheroine created by American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston and published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in All Star Comics #8 in December 1941 and first cover-dated on Sensation Comics #1, January 1942. In addition to the comics, the character has appeared in other media; most notably, the 1975–1979 Wonder Woman TV series starring Lynda Carter, as well as animated series such as the Super Friends and Justice League.

The 1970s was when I was growing up and television then was one of the main means of entertainment, the other medium was comic books so Lynda Carter Wonder Woman TV series was quite happening then, with the entire family of siblings and cousins all gathering to watch each episode when it was aired on our local TV channel. I can still remember the Wonder Woman TV series theme song:
Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman. All the world's waiting for you, and the power you possess.
In your satin tights, Fighting for your rights And the old Red, White and Blue... (and it goes on)

So how many Kotobukiya DC Comics Wonder Woman are out there? With this latest preview and its upcoming release, I count at least three - the other two being the Kotobukiya DC Comics 1/7 scale Armored Wonder Woman Bishoujo Statue (previewed earlier HERE) and the Kotobukiya DC Comics Bishoujo Wonder Woman released in 2012 and reviewed HERE and HERE

Since Lynda Carter's television series, studios struggled to introduce a new live-action Wonder Woman to audiences, although the character continued to feature in a variety of toys and merchandise, as well as animated adaptations of DC properties, including a direct-to-DVD animated feature. Attempts to return Wonder Woman to television have included a pilot for NBC in 2011, closely followed by another stalled production for The CW. In 2013 it was announced that Israeli actress Gal Gadot would portray Wonder Woman in the 2016 film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

  1. Don't forget the ArtFX+ Justice League Wonder Woman based on Jim Lee's New 52 designs.

The best version of WW that I've ever seen has to be that one from Sideshow that you posted here a few months earlier, however. That statue got my heart pounding!
