That is one of the reasons why I got into this 1:6 scale collectible hobby. Besides the ultra detailed fabric clothing / outfits designed and made in 1:6 scale, including the weapons, gear and accessories, when put on a 12-inch figure with good articulation, you can really appreciate the art that went into producing the figure, with realism and trueness to form being the end result. What with Hot Toys leading the industry in this area, the 1:6 scale modeling hobby has certainly grown by leaps and bounds.
Smaller size action figures seem to lag behind in this particular area of articulation but it seems TAMASHII NATIONS wants to put an end to that. They have released pictures of their S.H. Figuarts Gray Man DX Set which looks to revolutionize the market.
TAMASHII NATIONS introduces a new breakout line from S.H. Figuarts of highly realistic, articulated figures created with the artist in mind. Over recent years, the numbers of digital artists has increased rapidly and with TAMASHII NATIONS’ new humanoid figure collection; you can easily create poses to create the most dynamic of drawings! Over 30 articulated joints make it even easier to recreate a desired pose or action. The DX set includes everything you need to create a masterpiece: interchangeable hands (x17), mini book, PC, tablet, model gun, sword, pen, smartphone, cell phone, and special display base.
