Bandai Star Wars Movie Realization continues with their Japanese armor styled reinterpretations of classic characters with Boba Fett, now dressed as a wandering ronin warrior. There are actually quite a lot of Japanese influences at work in the original Star Wars. From things like the name for Jedi coming from the Japanese word for period drama, that of jidaigeki, to all manner of nods to the films of Akira Kurosawa as well as the designs for a lot of the costumes much of what made Star Wars had a clear and somewhat traditional Japanese twist to it. So it does make sense that you could re-purpose the original character designs from Star Wars into a feudal Japanese setting.
A rōnin (浪人) was a samurai with no lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the death or fall of his master, or after the loss of his master's favor or privilege.
Bandai Star Wars Movie Realization Ronin Kenzan Boba Fett action figure is approximately 170mm tall and comes equipped with a more ornamental looking removable jet pack, a small sword, several knives / tools attached to his calves (detachable), a flintlock blaster and an assortment of hands. The scope on his helmet is movable too.
