SAS Action Man, Desert Storm 1991 - Bravo Two Zero

Bravo Two Zero was the callsign of an eight-man British SAS patrol tasked to observe the MSR between Baghdad and north-west Iraq, search and destroy Iraqi Scud missile launchers and their fibre optic comms lines during Desert Storm in 1991. They were compromised and while one member Chris Ryan managed to escape to Syria by walking 300km, the rest were scattered and later captured by the Iraqi military. Much controversy has surrounded the details as narrated by Andy McNab, the patrol leader, who would go on to write fiction, as did Chris Ryan.
