Hence the famous line "Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves (fill in the mission) and should any member of your team be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow all knowledge of your actions. This message will self-destruct in five seconds." Cue theme music.Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt sans shades
In line with this series, there was also George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars and Keanu Reeves as Neo from "The Matrix (1999)". Next up: Tom Cruise as LT Pete "Maverick" Mitchell from "Top Gun (1986)".
thanks for the post my guru, can i check with you if you added on anything to this figure, or it came with all the stuff from the box? Thanks!
ReplyDeletequite perceptive aren't you? i didn't want to pay the full price for the figure coz i didn't feel that it was worth that much (Hot Toys not so HOT then) so i only bought the head sculpt. George Lucas and Neo are complete tho'.
ReplyDeleteah, thanks for enlightening, my guru! I scored this head in HK for S$20, and pix are scheduled to be published tomorrow. Need to figure out how to kit him out.
ReplyDeletethat's a steal! great score, man :)
ReplyDeletethank you my guru, I was quite lucky to spot it in one of those pigeon hole shops.
ReplyDeletejust wondering, do u think ppl won't get the likeness the first time round?
i saw the likeness right away, but maybe that's because i'm into movies. me thinks the likeness is better with the F-14 Tomcat aviator by Hot Toys
ReplyDeleteyah, reason I asked cos my wife asked me WTF I was buying and thought I was talking rubbish when I told her who the headsculpt was supposed to be of.
ReplyDeletei think he looks more like Tom Cruise if he has his shades on - the eyes not helping plus the face is a little too long. Looks more like him with the shades, even the box he came in had him with shades and you could tell right away from the box.
