It's about time somebody released a figure with his likeness and after what Loading Toys did with a certain James Bond figure, this should be good :)
The Courier will come with military sweater, tactical pants, diplomatic bag, G18C with extended magazine and 511 Low Caliga

Loading Toys also included an image of two glow-in-the-dark light sticks - wonder how that's going to turn out? Just have to wait and see.
Loading Toys' "The Courier (Jason Statham)" finally arrives - pictures here
UPDATE August 20, 2010: An even better Jason Statham likeness in the blog entry: "1:6 Jason Statham as Frank Martin in Transporter 3"!
Hmmm. Nice, but the nose just isn't quite right, and I think they've misjudged the extend of his underbite :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a very keen eye, bighatdino :) i'm just happy somebody decided to make a figure with his likeness. plonk his head onto a Saturday Toys suit and he'll be all ready to transport anything for you for the right price, no questions asked.
ReplyDeleteBTW, nice to know you've got your own blog going :)
If someone does a coat that looks like a camelhair coat, then you could have him as Bacon from Lock Stock :)
ReplyDeleteA sci-fi outfit would give you him from Ghosts of Mars... there's loads of options.
My blog's not quite what it needs to be, I'm going to be redoing it this year, and will hopefully start posting some of my collection on there. Hopefully :)
Gotta admit, I haven't seen Ghosts of Mars (don't even remember seeing any trailers here).
ReplyDeleteWhen your blog's up and ready, I'll definitely be visiting it regularly for sure ;>
Biz suits will be "the special of the day". Better let your fav toy store knows & to bring in tons!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog man! Can I make a request though? I would love it if you would give some info on the articulation of the figures. It looks like you generally just pose them and set them in a case but I would love to be able to check your site out and know just how playable the figures are. :-) Ill stop by often!
ReplyDeletehi marcus, with all the extra head sculpts being released, suits will be the order of the day :) btw in my mind there is ONLY ONE FAVE toy store in Singapore & we both know which one it is - ha! ha!
ReplyDeleteHi Thomas, thanks for the compliments and words of encouragement. I like your suggestion about the articulation - I'll definitely try to shoot more of the figures in various poses. It'll make the post even more interesting. Thanks again ;>
Yes Alex, just to get another Saturday Toys suit (black and white), we can complete the kitbash for this. Simple and nice!!
ReplyDeleteWell, this is certainly up there on the to-buy list. Since Lock Stock and Snatch, Jase has never never disappointed. Being miniaturise is due recognition for his achievements.
ReplyDeletehey tony it's nice that toy manufacturers take notice of collectors' wants ;>
ReplyDeletei wish the toy manufacturers could make actual size jason, without clothes, for sale.
ReplyDeleteooohh, kinky - my wish would be a life size Scarlett Johansson LOL!!
ReplyDeleteThe set is already out! Will be getting it tomorrow and will pop the head onto the Saturday Toys body and suit! Finally, a Jason Statham as The Transporter figure!!! Perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteyeah imranbecks :) i got mine already but he's not clean shaven enough for a transporter bash so i'm looking at bashing him as FBI agent John Crawford in Rogue Assassin
