Very Hot 1/6 scale CIA (Afghanistan) Uniform Set

First previewed HERE, now pictures of product in hand :)

Like I said earlier, this set is GREAT for kitbashes and I've chosen to use some parts for a Matt Damon as Jason Bourne bash. As Jason Charles Bourne (real name David Webb), Matt Damon has appeared in three Bourne films: "The Bourne Identity (2002)", "The Bourne Supremacy (2004)" and "The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)". No relation to the other Bond, of course (see previous post). I'd bashed an earlier version of a 1/6 scale Matt Damon as Jason Bourne - pictures HERE.

Jason Bourne wears a cap and shades to conceal his identity and stay hidden/covert

This 1/6 scale Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) set from Very Hot comes in a rather compact box packaging since there isn't a figure provided although the box pictures show how they dressed it up with a Russell Crowe head sculpt from Hot Toys US NSW Desert Ops 1/6 miltary figure (pictures HERE)

This Very Hot CIA (Afghanistan) uniform attire set includes: Black Sweater, Black Scarf, Black Beanie Head Cover, Black Baseball cap, Black Pants, Blue Denim Jeans, Tactical Boots, Kneepads

Black Body Armor, Tan Chest Rig, Black Backpack, Black Fanny Pack, Black Sub-load Pouch,

SCAR Assault Rifle, Black Cloth Gloves, Belt, Glock Pistol with Drop-down Holster, Zip Ties (Flexi-cuffs), Cell Phone, Sunglasses, Radio with Headset, Canteen, Watch, Carabiner,

Close-up of the SCAR Assault Rifle (comes with sling)

Map Assortment (five large maps) and lots of "WANTED" pictures of terrorists, including Osama bin Laden, of course - definitely "Public Enemy Number 1" on their list

David Webb was recruited into Medusa (an assassination team or death squad) during the Vietnam War by friend and CIA officer Alexander Conklin after the death of Webb's wife and children. Webb took the identity of Jason Bourne for Treadstone Seventy-One, a black ops arm of the CIA.

In the first of three films in the Bourne series - Bourne Identity (2002) - Bourne/Webb attempts to discover his true identity amidst a clandestine conspiracy within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to track him down and arrest or kill him for inexplicably failing to carry out an officially unsanctioned assassination and then failing to report back after the failed mission.

And in Saturday's The Straits Times (see article below), it was reported in Washington that private security guards from Blackwater Worldwide participated in some of the CIA's most sensitive activities, including clandestine raids against suspected insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan (essentially "snatch and grab" operations), and the transporting of detainees. An ex-CIA officer even said,"There was a feeling that Blackwater eventually became an extension of the agency."

To see more pictures of this set and the full gear get-up, you can drop by this link and see how the entire set can be kitted out.

And finally, a "Hello" to Stanley :) nice meeting you at CSC today
