UPDATE November 7, 2010: Hot Toys Royce in-hand pictures! and MORE!!
The weapon used in the film by Royce is an AA-12 shotgun, which Brody suffered server bruising on his arms from exstensive use of the weapon. Great Website, use it all the time to decide which figures to buy. Thanks for all the help :)
ReplyDeleteThe head sculpt looks very good...Are you getting this, bro??
ReplyDeleteI still dont get it why he was chosen to act the lead in the movie...
ReplyDeletethanks anon for the info :) what i don't get is why Hot Toys list the weapon in generic desrciption when they obviously got the license and the specs to manufacture the weapon in 1:6 scale
ReplyDelete@desmond, most likely getting this :) i'm as much into the humans as i am with the aliens
hey adrian, from what i saw on the commentary by the director, he was thrilled that he got an Academy Award winning actor to star in his film. me thinks adrien brody is doing a nicholas cage. both aren't the most good looking but ended up doing quite a bit of action movies after winning Academy Awards ;>
A Hot Toys Isabella figure from Predators would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe AA12 is suposed to be a low recoil auto-shotgun. In the movie it looks like Brody had a hard time carrying it let alone firing the thing. If he did get bruises from firing it he must not have been positioning it properly... or maybe he just bruises easy
