More Head Play 1/6 head sculpts

continued from my previous post...

These are some of the other HeadPlay 1/6 scale head sculpts (some are up for pre-order and some have already been released into the market and available at TFH). There are altogether 50 heads listed to date, not counting those in the earlier post.

Christian version. The HeadSculpt HS is supposed to resemble Christian Bale, an English actor who first caught the public eye at the age of 13, when he was cast in the starring role of Steven Spielberg's "Empire of the Sun". He played an English boy who is separated from his parents and subsequently finds himself lost in a Japanese internment camp during World War II.

Most recently, he is notable for portraying Bruce Wayne in the Batman films "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight". He also played John Connor in "Terminator Salvation" and FBI agent Melvin Purvis in Michael Mann's "Public Enemies".

In 2010, Bale played Dicky Eklund in the biopic "The Fighter". He earned extensive critical acclaim for his role and won several accolades, including the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.

Orlando version. HS is supposed to resemble Orlando Bloom, who had his break-through roles in 2001 as the elf-prince Legolas in "The Lord of the Rings" and starting in 2003 as blacksmith Will Turner in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series.

He subsequently established himself as a lead in Hollywood films, including "Elizabethtown" and "Kingdom of Heaven".

Jack version. HS is supposed to resemble John Joseph "Jack" Nicholson, an American actor renowned for his often dark-themed portrayals of neurotic characters. Notable films in which he has starred include, in chronological order, Easy Rider, Five Easy Pieces, Chinatown, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Shining, The Postman Always Rings Twice, Reds, Terms of Endearment, Batman, A Few Good Men, As Good as It Gets, About Schmidt, Something's Gotta Give and The Departed.

This HeadPlay HS is obviously of Jack Nicholson as Jack Torrance in "The Shining", a 1980 psychological horror film directed by Stanley Kubrick. Jack Nicholson as Jack Torrance becomes influenced by the supernatural presence in a haunted hotel and he descends into madness and attempts to murder his wife and son.

Liev version. HS is supposed to resemble Liev Schreiber, who became known during the late 1990s and early 2000s, having initially appeared in several independent films, and later mainstream Hollywood films, including the Scream trilogy of horror films, The Sum of All Fears, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Salt.

This look was the look he had when he played the mutant supervillain, Sabretooth in the Marvel Comics film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", released on May 1, 2009.

Nicolas version. Believe it or not, this HS is supposed to resemble Nicolas Cage (born Nicolas Kim Coppola on January 7, 1964) who has appeared in over 60 films including Raising Arizona (1987), The Rock (1996), Face/Off (1997), Gone in 60 Seconds (2000), Adaptation (2002), National Treasure (2004), Ghost Rider (2007), Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009), and Kick-Ass (2010).

I think the head sculpt looks better than he does haha

Vladimir version. HS is meant to resemble Vladimir Putin, who served as the second President of the Russian Federation and is the current Prime Minister of Russia, as well as chairman of United Russia and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Union of Russia and Belarus. He became acting President on 31 December 1999, when president Boris Yeltsin resigned in a surprising move. Putin won the 2000 presidential election and in 2004 he was re-elected for a second term lasting until 7 May 2008.

Putin is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing the rule of law. During his presidency, Russia's economy bounced back from crisis, seeing GDP increase by 72% in PPP (sixfold in nominal), poverty decrease by more than 50%, and average monthly salaries increase from $80 to $640.

Ron version. HS is supposed to resemble Ron Perlman, known for having played "Vincent" in the TV series Beauty and the Beast, "Slade" in the animated series Teen Titans, Clay Morrow in Sons of Anarchy, the comic book character Hellboy in both the eponymous film and the sequel.

His most notable film appearances were in films such as The Name of the Rose (1986), Romeo is Bleeding (1993), The Adventures of Huck Finn (1993), Police Academy: Mission to Moscow (1994), The Last Supper (1995), The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), Alien Resurrection (1997), Enemy at the Gates (2001), Blade II and Star Trek Nemesis (both 2002) and two Stephen King story-to-movie adaptations, Sleepwalkers and Desperation. His appearances in television series include Highlander: The Series, The Outer Limits and The Magnificent Seven.

Steve version. HS is supposed to resemble Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs, co-founder and chief executive officer of Apple Inc.

Unfortunately, the head doesn't come with glasses

  1. That Bale looks really neat, as good, if not better, than some of the HT sculpts of him! Liev Schreiber, Putin and Perlman and Jobs are really impressive sculpts, too.

The Perlman one looks like it's a Blade II sculpt. A Clay Morrow sculpt would be damn awesome :)

I think his Smile fits perfectly for the Last scene of the Movie ~
