REVIEW III: Subway 24 Hours "Hero" aka 1/6 Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer 12-inch Figure

This is my third and last review post on Subway 24 Hours "Hero" 12-inch figure aka 1/6th scale "24" Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. Having already reviewed the packaging and contents (including 1/6th scale padded underwear plus thigh enhancers) in my earlier post, then followed by a second post on this Subway 24 inspired 12-inch figure wearing the APEX body armor vest over his gray grandad shirt and armed with the 1/6th scale M4A1 SOPMOD rifle with collapsible stock, AR15 foregrip, Xenon laser light and one M4 / M16 magazine, this post is the Subway 24 Hours "Hero" 12-inch figure with his full getup i.e. complete with 1/6th scale 5222 large aviator sunglasses, brown leather jacket over gray long sleeve sweater, 527 Denim jeans and boots plus RRL leather mail bag / messenger bag

Here we see 1/6 Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer taking aim with his Heckler & Koch USP compact pistol with the aim of taking down the bad guys, terrorists and the like. After all, that's what Jack does in the TV series. That, and coming up with many ways of torturing suspects which the show got some flak for.

Here we see the Subway 24 Hours "Hero" 12-inch figure aka 1/6th scale "24" Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer in full view with his gun pointed and ever ready to deal with the bad guys, whoever they may be, some even coming from within his organization.

Scroll down for turnaround views of this Jack Bauer figure by Subway. I'm quite happy with how the figure turned out, especially after removing the unnecessary and redundant padded underwear (seen in the first post) which didn't really do much for the figure, in my personal opinion.

The RRL leather mail bag / messenger bag is rather well made as well, except I felt the strap is a bit too long. Fully extending the strap to its desired length would cause the bag to drop to his knee level which would be too low for anyone to carry it properly. Furthermore, it would impede movement and become an obstacle in itself.

With the brown leather jacket on him, you really cannot tell that he's wearing a grandad shirt under the jacket. That's why I opted to post pictures of this Subway 24 Hours "Hero" 12-inch figure without his jacket in the earlier post HERE.

Once again, to recap: this Subway 24 Hours "Hero" 12-inch figure (1/6th scale Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer) comes with 1/6th scale "Jack" Head sculpt, 12-inch figure Body, one Pair of hands, 5222 Large aviator sunglasses, Leather jacket, Long sleeve sweater (grandad shirt), 527 Denim jeans, underpants (removed), Apex body armor, RRL leather mail bag

USP compact pistol with USP compact 9mm magazine, 268A flatsider paddle holster and M4A1 SOPMOD rifle with Xenon laser light, AR15 foregrip, Eotech 552 sight, Collapsible stock and one M4 / M16 magazine (see earlier post)

And here's Jack wearing his 1/6th scale 5222 Large aviator sunglasses (they are collapsible i.e. the temples fold inwards just like the real pair - the folded sunglasses can be seen in my post HERE)

Apologies for the many pictures but I quite like how this figure turned out and was just snapping away ;p Anyway, I started this toy blog so that I could keep a catalogue of my toys / action figures and the best way to do that has been to post the pictures on TOY HAVEN.

Since then the readers and visitors to my toy blog has grown and grown, and up till today at the time of this post, I've had 7,592,966 hits / page loads (that's over 7.5 million visits and I'm humbled by the figure ;p) from when I first started back in July 18, 2007 with my very first posting. Not bad for a blog site devoted to my passion ;p and it's all thanks to all the readers and visitors who visit my toy blog :)

Here you can see where the strap for the messenger bag is just too long. The ideal way would be to cut the excess strap off. Something on my "to do" list haha

Not too bad, I reckon ;p

And here are close-up pictures of Subway 24 Hours "Hero" aka 1/6 Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer 12-inch Figure about to take his shot with the USP Compact pistol plus more views of the RRL leather mail bag / messenger bag

Hope you all like the pictures :)

The USP (Universale Selbstladepistole or "universal self-loading pistol") is a semi-automatic pistol developed in Germany by Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K) of Oberndorf am Neckar as a replacement for the P7 series of handguns. The first USP Compact models appeared in 1994. These are scaled-down USPs, and are available in all the same cartridges as the full size version, and additionally the .357 SIG. Due to the smaller size of the frame, magazines for the Compact variant may have a handgrip extension to better accommodate the shooter's hand.

Click on the pictures above and below to get a better view of the Subway 1/6th scale USP Compact pistol which Jack favors. When not in use, the pistol is holstered in the 268A flatsider paddle holster located on his right hip (see earlier post).

That's it. That concludes the 3-part pictures review of the Subway 24 Hours "Hero" 12-inch figure.

Other Jack Bauer figures I've reviewed: Enterbay "24" Jack Bauer figure (reviewed HERE) and Playhouse GSG-9 (low profile version), an unlicensed Jack Bauer figure (reviewed HERE) which were released earlier, in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
