The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Chris Evans as Captain America in his “Golden Age” suit in the film. It features a brand new helmeted head sculpt, newly developed body, newly tailored costume made with new materials, and a specially-made metal circular Captain America shield with distressed effect.

Hot Toys seems to get better with each new release. Just when you think they have done it right, they show you that they can do it even better :) This newer version looks to be a much improved version from the much earlier released 2011 version of Hot Toys Captain America: The First Avenger 12-inch Collectible Figure (reviewed HERE, HERE and HERE)

Don't see the point of this release. What would be worst is if they did another Fury figure and skip a the Falcon figure. Can't WAIT to see the Winter Soldier!
ReplyDeleteI agree, want to see falcon & the winter soldier
ReplyDeleteOK Alex, talk me into this one as I already have the original release, the Star Spangled Version as well as the WWII Exclusive. do I need this one? (Of course I really don't "need" it...but you know what I mean) should I pick this one up or will I regret it after they make more from this line? probably LOL! Winter Soldier, Falcon, another 1-2 or maybe 3 Captain America/Steve Rogers, I just don't want to think...Damn! I should have picked him up. (he just looks to close to the original one.)
ReplyDeleteThe head sculpt of this looks so much better than the first release. I wonder if he's taller too.
