STIKFAS Mechana Segmented Robot

The basic STIKFAS style is called the Alpha Male (see previous post) and stands 3 1/4" (82mm) tall. The Mechana Robot, on the other hand, is the largest body type, and represents a large mecha anime-style robot. It has a wide waist with an even wider torso, and a smallish head. Its arms are segmented, allowing for a wide range of flexibility. Its legs, however, are normal with wide feet.

The Mechana Robot is 112mm tall compared to the Alpha Male STIKFAS figure

Here's the Mechana Segmented Robot striking a post. The head does remind me of Tetsujin 28-gō (鉄人28号, Tetsujin Nijūhachi-gō, literally "Iron Man #28"), a 1956 manga written and illustrated by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, who also created Giant Robo. The series centred on the adventures of a young boy named Shotaro Kaneda, who controlled a giant robot named Tetsujin 28, built by his late father.

The manga was later adapted into four anime TV series, the first in 1963. It was later released in America as Gigantor in 1964.

STIKFAS Mechana Segmented Robot also came with his Teddy Bear friend

Teddy is way shorter than all at 42mm

Teddy to Robo: "My, what BIG arms you have!"

Batteries not required haha - just plug and play. Notice the Hasbro China marking? From 2002 to 2004, STIKFAS was licensed to international toy giant Hasbro Inc and this move saw a significant increase in its product range, distribution network as well as market recognition.

Mechana also comes with his ray gun, one of many accessories it has
