In the heat of battle, soldiers quickly become accustomed to the loud noise of heavy gunfire. Perhaps there has never been another soldier who's more at home with loud noises than Craig S. McConnel. Whether it's the pounding of waves against his surfboard, the clanging of barbells during his time as a professional weightlifter, or the reverberations of his bass guitar during a heavy metal song, McConnel's entire life has been built around nearly deafening sounds.
It's this natural ability to handle loud noises that make McConnel a particularly suitable choice for the machine gunner of the G.I.JOE team. His infantry training proved that letting round after round of bullets flow naturally and on target were definitely his strengths, earning him the code name ROCK N' ROLL. He's also a natural when it comes to getting along with his teammates. However, at the end of the day, providing heavy firepower against the likes of the terrorist organization COBRA is what makes him a true team player and one of the most valuable assets the JOE team has to offer. YO JOE!

Alex,
Been collecting most of my military figure from Soldier Story, and seriously thinking of trying out on the GI Joe line from Sideshow (maybe just getting 1 and see :D ).
Since they are similar in term of pricing with other military line, and from the preview, they look pretty nice too.
Now, from your experience, how do they fare in term of quality compare to Soldier Story (IMHO, think today SS is the best military line company for 1/6).
PS: Never look at actual product before.
Btw, other 1/6 military line that i think is good as well is the playhouse :)
Sideshow is getting better with each release :) worth a try. I have their Firefly and am quite happy with him http://toyhaven.blogspot.sg/2010/09/sideshow-cobra-firefly-16-figure-review.html
Crazy Dummy is also coming up in the military circle. Thinking of getting their ISAF figure :)
Wow..that is a nice figure from Crazy Dummy. Mmm...Alex did you post the preview of the ISAF in your blog? If you have i guess i must have missed it :)
PS: kind of moving away a little from HT, since 1 HT = 2 military figures ..haha. Back to the root i guess :)
Was gonna post PREVIEW pictures of the Crazy Dummy ISAF but overtaken by recent events haha
Yup, same here. HT is no longer value for money :( too pricey compared to all the other figures that are available out there
Agree Alex. Hey, btw do you happen to know the homepage for Crazy Dummy? Trying to look back all their figures and photos. All of the sudden, have this urge to get one of their figure :)
hey ethan, i don't think Crazy Dummy has their own site :(
