Andy Lau (刘德华) played Senior Inspector Lau Kin-Ming (劉健明) in the 2002 Hong Kong crime-thriller film "Infernal Affairs" directed by Andrew Lau and Alan Mak. Lau's character was a police officer secretly working for the triads. The "Infernal Affairs" series was then remade by Martin Scorsese in 2006 as "The Departed", starring Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg.
Now from Star Mil (never heard of them until today) comes this 1:6 scale 12-inch figure bearing a striking resemblance to the character of Senior Inspector Lau Kin-Ming (劉健明) played by Andy Lau (刘德华). This isn't the first 1:6 head sculpt of Andy Lau as Dragon did release a Andy Lau headsculpt as he appeared in "Fulltime Killer (全职杀手)" as Lok Tok-Wah but the problem was, he was a SMILING hitman.
This figure comes with Black business suit, Black business trousers, White Inner Shirt, Black Leather Belt, Black Socks and Shoes, Police Badge and Revolver.
Now bring on Tony Leung Chiu-Wai (梁朝伟) as Chan Wing-Yan (陳永仁) and I'll be a very happy collector because the pair should stand side-by-side. They were both EXCEPTIONAL in the movie.

I saw these in Toysdaily forum yesterday. The face looks old but the hair sculpt is nice. The shoes look a bit weird in shape..
Must be a Tony Leung next.
Head sculpt look more like 潘若迪 from taiwan.
there but also not there...if you know what I mean.
Hi I have a newbie question. I bought this and the andy lay head comes with a interface said to connect to TTL or Hot toys figure. I tried both but cant work. Any ideas how to go about it ?
hi Aron, sometimes you have to use a hair dryer to warm up the base so that it becomes soft and expands then you connect the head to the neck post. Pouring warm water might also help but makes sure the figure is not wearing clothes otherwise everything gets wet. All the BEST :)
