This will be the final look of my 1:6 scale Bruce Willis as John McClane 12-inch figure from DIE HARD. I wasn't totally happy with the overly dirtied shirt that Brother Production included with their Natural Born Hero Series 001 New York Detective "Dirty Johnny" 1:6 scale figure (worldwide limited to 150 pieces) which I'd reviewed earlier HERE, so I switched shirts and included a few other items.
The shirt and other items added include a radio walkie-talkie, Japan manufactured Minebea PM-9 Submachine Gun and a pack of 1:6 scale cigarettes. These were all part of a "City Hero" figure release, made by an obscure Japanese toy company years ago.
I don't remember John McClane brandishing a Minebea PM-9 Submachine Gun but this 1:6 scale version of the weapon is just too cool to leave out
The Minebea PM-9 Submachine Gun, known officially in the Japan Self-Defense Forces as the 9mm Machine Pistol (9mm機関拳銃, Kyumiri Kikan Kenjū) or as the M9, is a Japanese-made submachine gun. Based on Israeli's IMI Mini-Uzi, the PM-9 has the same telescoping bolt in use from the Mini-Uzis, but it has a difference in terms of its appearance, operational use and handling. [source: wiki]
A closer look at the Japanese Uzi or Minebea PM-9 Submachine Gun aka M9 in the picture below.
Note the pack of cigarettes designed to look like a pack of Lucky Strikes. It even has a cigarette stick sticking out from the pack. Besides being a foul-mouthed, wisecracking, no-nonsense New York cop with an itchy trigger finger, an aversion to Eurotrash terrorists and a never-say-die spirit, John McClane (Bruce Willis) is a chain-smoker who is described as "two steps away from becoming a full blown alcoholic".
A close-up picture of the radio walkie-talkie, taken from one of the bad guys so that he can hear what they are planning to do.
I'm pretty happy with this FINAL version of Bruce Willis as John McClane

Glad you like, desmond ;p
hey Alex, where did you get the PM-9 machine pistol? Does it come with this figure? thx in advance.
As mentioned in my post above, the PM-9 was part of a "City Hero" figure release many years earlier and NOT part of the Brother Production release. I also switch shirt, added the walkie-talkie radio and cigarette pack, all from the "City Hero" boxed figure set CHEERS
i love it! where these can be bought and how much they cost?
