continued from previous post...
The name's BOND, James BOND. Secret Agent 007.
Here are some comparison pictures of Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 12-inch Figure with ZCWO 1/6 scale Articulate Body AB02 (Limited Edition) 12-inch Figure wearing Asmus Toys 1/6 scale 007 The BOND suit (reviewed earlier in my toy blog post HERE)
You will notice that I gave the DID 1/6 scale British Military Intelligence Section 6 (MI6) Agent "Jack" 12-inch Spy Figure (previewed HERE) a miss. That is because every time I'm at the shop and I decide to give the figure a chance, I am put off by the head sculpt and have to put the figure back on the shelf. DiD's Craig Bond (but named "Jack") looked really old with a long saggy face and certainly looked like he needs to be retired to an old folks' home. Not the kind of Bond I'm looking for.
Even ZCWO 1/6 scale Articulate Body AB02 (Limited Edition) 12-inch Figure looks better than DID's version IMHO DiD has done some great sculpts but to me, they missed the mark on Daniel Craig
In the 23rd Bond film "Skyfall (2012)", which opens in Istanbul, MI6 agents James Bond and Eve Moneypenny chase a mercenary, Patrice, who has stolen a computer hard drive containing details of undercover agents placed in terrorist organisations by NATO states. Bond is not in his usual tuxedo but is seen wearing a silver / grey suit instead.
I'm glad to have two different Bonds (Daniel Craig) wearing two different suits
I even have the ZCWO 1/6 scale Articulate Body AB02 (Limited Edition) 12-inch Figure wearing Asmus Toys 1/6 scale 007 The BOND suit riding the dirt bike as seen in "SkyFall" when Bond chases after Patrice. Check out my toy blog post HERE
Close-up pictures of the two BONDs i.e. ZCWO 1/6 scale Articulate Body AB02 (Limited Edition) 12-inch Figure wearing Asmus Toys 1/6 scale 007 The BOND suit and Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 12-inch Figure

Looks like this is my new favorite 1/6 scale Daniel Craig James Bond 12-inch figure :)

Kenzie LaMar commented on facebook: Funny I was looking at these and to me the one on the right with the black suit looks better. Not only is the resin slightly translucent with a great skin colored base, but I think the sculpt from every angle looks more natural and grabs the likeness better. From the front on view the one on the left wearing the gray suit looks good but from other angles it looks very stiff and awkward. The eye socket seems off to me as well as the ears look strange. The resin looks like it was cast in gray and opaque. The paint ends up being dull and gray skin versus the lively sub surface scattering effect the translucent one on the right has. I don't think either of the sculpts nailed the likeness 100% but I like the one in the black suit better.
