Review of Toysbox Acrylic Hall of Armor 1/6th scale collectible display case for Iron Man figures

This is the Toysbox custom Acrylic Hall of Armor 1/6th scale collectible display case for Iron Man figures (figure not included). The display case when assembled measures 19cm across x 14.5cm deep x 34.5cm high. For me, this is the much cheaper alternative to the rather expensive Hot Toys Hall of Armor sets which are more like the real thing but I just wasn't willing to pay HT's asking price for them as I would rather spend on actual figures instead. These Acrylic Hall of Armor 1/6th scale collectible display cases which I got at a very good price are clear and have the see through effect not only from the front but sides and back as well which is great for displaying one's Iron Man figures

Some assembly is required as these are packed and shipped as a flat package, much like most of the furniture company Ikea's stuff which require some D.I.Y. The good thing is they are easier to store and keep as they are flat packed and you only assemble them when you need which means you do save some storage space and space is a luxury in land scarce Singapore. I enjoy collecting 12-inch figures because they are like art to me but due to constraints of space, displaying them all can be quite a challenge. I can't stop collecting but keeping and displaying them is getting more and more challenging haha

The Toysbox Acrylic Hall of Armor 1/6th scale collectible display case for Iron Man figures comes in flat packed boxes (the picture above shows six Hall of Armor display cases still in their packaging). Each box comes with an instruction sheet on how to assemble the Hall of Armor.

Check out the base pieces for the Hall of Armor. The top and bottom pieces are black acrylic pieces and the clear base piece for positioning the feet are very intricately etched. The etchings on the base piece is extremely detailed and very well done and they look even better against the black base (see the next picture below).

Next up is the acrylic piece for the back which is also made up of three pieces. Again, the details are similar to that you see on the actual Iron Man Hall of Armor but over here, they are clear and see through. I like the transparent effect because it serves better as a display case.

What's left after this is the remaining side panel and top piece

Toysbox Acrylic Hall of Armor 1/6th scale collectible display case for Iron Man figures is almost complete. There's only the front cover remaining. Check out the turnaround views

Here's how the Hot Toys MMS80 Iron Man Mark 1 (original version) looks inside the Toysbox Acrylic Hall of Armor 1/6th scale collectible display case. You can check out the review of this Hot Toys Mark 1 Iron Man figure on my toy blog HERE, HERE and HERE. Scroll down to see the turnaround views of Iron Man in the clear display case

Here are some close-up shots / views of Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 1 12-inch figure and Toysbox 1/6 scale Acrylic Hall of Armor collectible display case

This is the last piece of the puzzle. The front cover is specifically designed for the Mark 1 armor designed by Tony Stark in the film

Here's how the complete Toysbox Acrylic Hall of Armor 1/6th scale collectible display case looks with the Iron Man Mark 1 figure inside. I certainly like this display case more than the actual Hall of Armor.

This is certainly a nice way to display one's Iron Man figures :)

Wow! This is a really cool and that blue schematic stuff makes the figure pop. It creates a cool holographic overlay.

I bought the last set from the guy I know. I'm not sure where else you can buy these. Perhaps e-bay?
