The lives of two mob hit men, a boxer, a gangster's wife, and a pair of diner bandits intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption. "Pulp Fiction" is a 1994 American crime film directed by Quentin Tarantino, who co-wrote its screenplay with Roger Avary. The film is known for its rich, eclectic dialogue, ironic mix of humor and violence, nonlinear storyline, and host of cinematic allusions and pop culture references. A major critical and commercial success, it revitalized the career of its leading man, John Travolta, who received an Academy Award nomination, as did costars Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman.
John Travolta is Vincent Vega. Vincent is a hitman working for mob boss Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). He is usually partnered with Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) when he is ordered to kill someone.
Hitman Vincent Vega (John Travolta) carries a chromed .45 Auto Ordnance 1911A1 with pearl grips as his handgun in the film.
Vincent is an "Elvis man": He wears a bola tie with his suit, he has long hair pulled back into a ponytail, and he orders his Douglas Sirk Steak "bloody as hell." Despite being a hitman, Vincent shows some signs of humanity, such as scrupulous loyalty and a general concern for the few people he cares about.
It is said that John Travolta accepted a bargain rate for his services — sources claim either $100,000 or $140,000 — but the film's success and his Oscar nomination as Best Actor revitalized his career.
This is the 1/6 scale Head Play John version head sculpt which is obviously meant to be none other than John Travolta as Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction. The film being a classic, I just could not resist getting this head sculpt of John Travolta and kitbash a 12-inch Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction 1/6 figure and I'm glad I did :)

Now, if only there was a 1/6 scale Jules Winfield (Samuel L. Jackson) 12-inch Hitman Figure to complete the pair....
No Jules? No problem ;p How about a 1/6th scale Samuel L Jackson as NYPD Detective John Shaft paired up with 12-inch Vincent Vega (John Travolta)? Check out the NEXT post :)

Hey Alex. There's a terrific Jules head available at http://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98022&highlight=jules . I bought one some months ago, but have yet to have it painted. But I did get a headplay John to go with it, along with 2 CM toys hacker suits for the pair. BTW, what suit are you using on your vega? Cheers!
oops - forgot to ask - where did you get the gun he's using? Thanks!
Hi brian, I'm not much of a painter myself so I usually get what's already painted :) Vega's suit was bought from the local store that stocks loose 1/6 pieces. I don't even know where it came from, just grabbed what I liked and it turned out GREAT ;p Vega borrowed the gun from Hot Toys Sarah Connor figure. There really aren't that many chrome 1/6 pistols available in the market CHEERS
sorry Alex but I was wondering what body you used? I'm wondering If the head would fit onto a true type body? Many thanks, Cal
hi, I'm actually using a TTL body but I think the head should fit a TrueType body (EXCEPT the muscular type because the neck is different. Muscular bodies connect only to heads whereas the normal standard bodies allow you to connect a head with neck) as well since HeadPlay designed their heads for 12-inch figure bodies CHEERS
