This is the iCEO 1/6th scale Steve Jobs 12-inch figure which managed to get made and released ;p While the head sculpt may not be as good as the DiD version which made the news for its amazing true-to-life likeness (see PREVIEW pictures HERE) and all the wrong reasons (Apple lawyers take action!), thus ending in its pre-mature withdrawal from the market after getting a lot of people all excited, this iCEO version of Steve Jobs seems to be of the man at a later stage of his life than DiD's version because here Steve Jobs is thinner due to his sickness. If you were to google images of Steve Jobs, you can actually see which Steve Jobs iCEO based their figure's head sculpt on. The pair of 1/6 glasses is an achievement in itself :)
What appealed to me were also the Apple products that were included with this iCEO 1/6th scale Steve Jobs 12-inch Figure: iPad, iPhone, Macbook and iMac with a mouse and keyboard.
Scroll down to see how the 1/6th scale Apple products look :) It's always nice to have 1:1 scale things done in 1:6 scale and even more so when I actually use some of these products. It was such fun to see the faces of my loved ones light up when they saw the miniature Apple products, products which have become a part and parcel of many of our lives. There's no denying that.
Even the packaging for the iCEO figure is very Apple inspired ("Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." - not sure what that is about?) ;p The 12-inch Steve Jobs figure lies in the black foam tray with slots for holding the Apple items (from top left: ipad, mouse, iphone, Macbook, and the keyboard and iMac are at the bottom). There's also a pair of spare glasses / spectacles and a sticker sheet for pasting the Apple logos onto the products. Two cards are included with the sayings "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life." and "We're here to put a dent in the universe. Otherwise why else even be here?"

Another view of the 1:6 scale APPLE Macbook, iMac with wireless keyboard and mouse, iPad and iPhone.
The mouse included is obviously a wrong type of mouse altogether and that is a slight bummer :( but everything else looks pretty cool

iCEO 12-inch Steve Jobs Figure showing off the 1/6th scale iPad. Just recently in the papers, there was an article that mentions that the iPad is on the verge of being 'genericized' - i.e. the brand name is now nearly synonymous to the 'tablet computer' class of products as a whole - joining the likes of Kleenex (tissue), Photoshop (digital imaging), Xerox (photocopy), Rollerblade (nuff said), Google (internet search engine), Yo-Yo (is there another name?) and Band-Aid (plaster)
Here's a close-up of the 1/6th scale iPad
And last but not least, iCEO Steve Jobs figure shows off the iPhone, a trailblazer in its own right. I never imagined that one day people would all want to be seen carrying the same phone. It used to be that everyone wanted their phone to be different and unique but now almost everyone has an iPhone and to make it different, they just slip it some skin ;p
Here's the miniature iCEO 1:6th scale iPhone - pretty neat IMHO
NEXT: You've seen the 1:6th scale APPLE products. Get ready to see how the iCEO 1:6th scale Steve Jobs 12-inch figure measures up. I was excited to pick up this figure and I think it's worth a look ;p
