DID 1/6th scale WWII 77th Infantry Division Medic "Dixon" 12-inch figure: Hacksaw Ridge?

Hacksaw Ridge is a 2016 biographical war drama film directed by Mel Gibson and written by Andrew Knight and Robert Schenkkan, based on the 2004 documentary The Conscientious Objector. The film focuses on the World War II experiences of Desmond Doss, an American pacifist combat medic who, as a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, refused to carry or use a weapon or firearm of any kind. Doss became the first conscientious objector to be awarded the Medal of Honor, for service above and beyond the call of duty during the Battle of Okinawa. Andrew Garfield stars as Doss, with Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer, Hugo Weaving, Rachel Griffiths, and Vince Vaughn in supporting roles.

The United States Army Special Forces, colloquially known as the Green Berets due to their distinctive service headgear, are a special operations force tasked with five primary missions: unconventional warfare (the original and most important mission of Special Forces), foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, direct action, and counter-terrorism. The first two emphasize language, cultural, and training skills in working with foreign troops. Other duties include combat search and rescue (CSAR), counter-narcotics, counter-proliferation, hostage rescue, humanitarian assistance, humanitarian demining, information operations, peacekeeping, psychological operations, security assistance, and manhunts; other components of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) or other U.S. government activities may also specialize in these secondary areas.

This appears to be a remake of the classic Hot Toys 1/6th scale NSW DEVGRU (Naval Special Warfare Development Group) operator, released in 2003 - check out my post from 2012 "October 7 – The Day the War in Afghanistan Began with U.S. Special Forces leading the way" (link HERE). I think Dam Toys should have gone with seamless arms. Iron Spider has extra arms, like a real spider and there's even a crawling version which is quite cool although it does remind me of Spider-Man's nemesis Doctor Octopus.

There's also Bruce Banner with Hulkbuster. Does that mean Bruce cannot become the Hulk anymore? Hmmm

The Cyberdyne Systems Series 800 Terminator, also known as T-800, is a type of Terminator mass-produced by Skynet. It was Skynet’s first cybernetic organism, with living tissue over a hyper-alloy endoskeleton. This made it Skynet’s first successful Infiltrator unit capable of infiltrating the Resistance. The T-800 Terminator, a cyborg assassin, was sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, whose son will one day become a savior against machines in a post-apocalyptic future.

In March 2016, DC Comics announced it would be relaunching all of its monthly titles under the DC Rebirth event. The relaunch restores elements of the pre-Flashpoint DC continuity while maintaining elements of The New 52 as well. In the critically celebrated fifth volume of Batgirl, Barbara Gordon is a student attending Burnside College in the trendy Burnside neighborhood of Gotham City. The comic was praised for its fun, fresh approach to the character and for Batgirl's realistic new costume design.

Gecco Co. 1:6 scale Ultraman 13-inch tall statue

The hero of the SF comic "ULTRAMAN," Shinjiro Hayata, is recreated as a highly detailed 1/6 scale statue, capturing the crisp metallic detail of his iconic suit. The sculpt features both the color timer on the chest and eyes glowing with LED. The arms are interchangeable with the Spacium Blade.

The ULTRAMAN head is also interchangeable with the Shinjiro head, and the statue can be displayed unmasked, holding the mask in his left hand, which creates a totally different atmosphere.

The sculpting and painting technique captures both the hard and soft material of the suit and is another wonderful highlight. This is the ultimate ULTRAMAN statue thoroughly supervised by the original writer/artist Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi.
