Hot Toys T2 Sarah Connor Review II

Having reviewed its box and contents in the previous post, here's Hot Toys T2 Sarah Connor 1/6 scale collectible figure fully kitted out in her shades, tank top and enhanced tactical load bearing vest with four magazine pouches, tactical web belt with combat knife in sheath, military style pants and combat boots. Sarah is armed with her SR-16 M4 Stoner Assault Rifle (or Colt Commando CAR-15 carbine)

In the movie "Terminator 2: Judgment Day", at a outlying farm in the desert, Sarah had used her knife to carve the words "NO FATE" into a wooden table to remind herself what Kyle Reese had told her ten years ago, "The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves."

Sarah then arms herself with a SR-16 M4 Stoner Assault Rifle (or Colt Commando CAR-15 carbine) and a Detonics 1911 custom pistol taken out of the armory from the Mojave desert in an attempt to assassinate Miles Dyson (Joe Morton) when she learns he started the project which lead to the machines being built.

And here's more close-ups of Hot Toys Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton headsculpt) with her 1/6 scale sunglasses

And here's a close-up of the very detailed enhanced tactical load bearing vest with four magazine pouches (two on each side). The assault vest is very well produced with all the fine stitching and working straps

Sarah tucks her Detonics Custom 1911 pistol into the back of her pants since the weapon did not come with a holster. Note the ultra detailed military web belt or tactical belt.

And her handy Combat Knife kept in the black leather sheath by her right side, ready to be used at a drop of a hat

And here's Hot Toys T2 Sarah Connor letting it rip with her SR-16 M4 Stoner Assault Rifle (or Colt Commando CAR-15 carbine) with flash hider

Close-ups of the Hot Toys 1/6 scale SR-16 M4 Stoner Assault Rifle (or Colt Commando CAR-15 carbine) with flash hider, laser pointer and ACOG scope

Once Sarah has arrived at the Dyson residence, she removes the flash hider and adds a sound suppressor, along with a laser pointer and an ACOG scope. She sets up her silenced gun behind the swimming pool, where she can see Miles working on his computer, unaware of the danger outside. Sarah loads the rifle and takes aim, pointing a red laser at the back of Miles head.

Agree with Saruman. The rubber arms are nicely made. Very real!!

Hot Toys effed up on the carbine. Sarah in the movie used a mock XM177E2 made from a Colt Sporter II carbine chopped down and converted to full auto, but the figure has an M4 carbine (note the round forward assist button, brass deflector behind the ejection port, and most obviously the detachable carry handle) with an XM177 flash hider. Hell, you can even still see the M203 barrel grove, though their attempt to cover it up with the laser sight is pretty clever.

Thanks for the very detailed and accurate description of the errors Hot Toys made regarding the weapon. Goes to show there's a lot that go into making the film, including the type of weapons used. CHEERS
