Hot Toys 1/6th scale The Avengers 12-inch Figures All Assembled & Seen @ STGCC 2012

Hot Toys put up quite a booth at the 2012 Singapore Toy Game & Comic Convention (STGCC 2012 from September 1 & 2) and one could say it was certainly one of the main attractions at the show, if not the MAIN attraction because you just cannot miss it :) It certainly was most impressive (see the pictures posted in my earlier toy blog entry HERE).

One of the exhibits at the Hot Toys booth which attracted quite a crowd was the 1/6th scale Avengers display. Here in Singapore for the first time we see Hot Toys 1/6th scale Avengers figures assembled for all to see at STGCC 2012 and what a sight it was! If you cannot wait, just scroll down to the bottom of this post to see all the Hot Toys Avengers figures assembled. Otherwise, take a trip with me as we take a look at each and every figure previewed and then see how they all come together for the diorama Hot Toys has prepared for us.

The last Hot Toys The Avengers 1/6th figure to be previewed was the HULK (see the preview pictures HERE). That's most likely because for the Hulk, Hot Toys have to re-design and re-develop a whole new body in scale with the Hulk's massive size. Scroll down to see more...

The Hot Toys 1/6th scale Hulk ( 42 cm / 16.5 inches tall) figure displayed at the STGCC 2012 seems to be in need of a bit of a tan. The Hulk's green skin in "The Avengers" movie has a much darker green skin tone than the prototype HULK model displayed at the exhibition / convention / toy show. No complains about the head sculpt though. That is one mean looking very angry p!s$ed off HULK! and I LiKe it :)

Here's a side view of Hot Toys 1/6th scale Hulk on display at STGCC 2012, along with all the other Hot toys Avengers 12-inch figures. Click on the picture for a bigger and better view :)

There's Hot Toys "The Avengers" movie 1/6th scale Thor Limited Edition 12.5-inch Collectible Figure with Chris Hemsworth likeness (previewed earlier HERE in May 2012)

Hot Toys "The Avengers" movie 1/6th scale Loki 12.5-inch Limited Edition Collectible Figure (MORE preview pictures posted HERE). That's a very nice pose for Loki (Tom Hiddleston)

Hot Toys "The Avengers" movie 1/6th scale Iron Man Mark VII 12" Limited Edition Collectible Figure in flight mode with the help of fishing lines ;p Notice that the gods of Asgard are both made to be slightly taller at 32cm (see the pre-release pictures posted HERE)

Hot Toys "The Avengers" movie 1/6th scale Hawkeye Limited Edition 12-inch Collectible Figure. Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye was one of the first to be previewed. MORE pics HERE

Here's the Hot Toys "The Avengers" movie 1/6th scale Black Widow Limited Edition 12-inch Female Figurine. This version 2.0 Black Widow Female Figure with Scarlett Johansson likeness is the rose among the thorns in the Avengers line-up. MORE pictures of Hot Toys Black Widow HERE

Hot Toys "The Avengers" movie 1/6th scale Nick Fury Limited Edition 12-inch Collectible Figurine. Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. All the Marvel Avengers from the movie and made by Hot Toys were also displayed individually at STGCC 2012. Here's Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America in his new and updated costume for the film.

Close-up shot of Chris Evans Captain America head sculpt. It does resemble the actor very well

Hot Toys "The Avengers" movie 1/6th scale Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow Limited Edition 12-inch Female Figurine version 2.0

Hot Toys The Avengers: 1/6th scale Iron Man Mark VII 12" Limited Edition Collectible Figure with Interchangeable head sculpt of Tony Stark with authentic likeness of Robert Downey Jr.

Close-up shot of the Iron Man Mark VII armor suit by Hot Toys. Hot Toys has made 1/6th scale figures into art sculptures but better than sculptures because these figures have articulation as well

Here's the close-up picture of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. Not the best look for Tony Stark IMHO

The Special Edition will include One (1) Holographic Mark VII collectible (approximately 3 inches tall)(This special edition is for selected markets only)

Last but not least, on display was also a prototype of the Chitauri foot soldier, part of the extraterrestrial race bent on invading Earth with which Loki can then rule as god.
