From traditional ninjas (see previous post) to modern ninjas
The G.I. Joe series of comic books featured ninja far more than the cartoon series, and many story arcs revolved around Scarlett, Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, Jinx, Kamakura, Firefly and the Arashikage ninja clan, which consisted of an extended family of ninja characters (never featured in the toyline or cartoon).
And here are some 1/6 scale ninjas featured in the G.I. Joe storyline: one (1) Storm Shadow, two (2) Firefly and three (3) Snake-Eyes.
Hasbro 1/6 scale Storm Shadow is from the animated "G.I. Joe: Spy Troops" movie and was released with Snake-Eyes plus DVD in 2003. More pictures available in my earlier post of April 11, 2008 titled: "Storm Shadow, ninja warrior"
Two 1/6 scale COBRA Firefly figures: Sideshow 12-inch Firefly (reviewed HERE and HERE) and Hasbro Firefly action figure (more pictures HERE)
G.I. Joe Snake-Eyes (from left to right: Snake-Eyes from the "G.I. Joe: Spy Troops" animated movie - more pictures HERE, Snake-Eyes from the recent "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra"film BEFORE and AFTER, and Hall of Fame Snake-Eyes with the body switched for more articulation and a total outfit change.)

Have you considered getting the Sideshow 12" Snake Eyes? It looks awesome and is armed and kitted out to the teeth! :D

thanks i did consider it but felt that sideshow priced him too high plus at that point when he came out, there were other goodies to get :)
Great Article, What's on Storm Shadow's Chain?
thanks :) the original elastic band used to hold Storm Shadow's two sheaths for his swords became loose so I had to improvise and use the chain instead.
