Sideshow Collectibles 1:6 G.I. Joe Beachhead Preview

As a young boy, Wayne R. Sneeden was tormented by his peers and lived a poverty-stricken life in Auburn, Alabama. He went through Airborne and Ranger school in the U.S. Army, and his character was tested when he took a dangerous assignment as a Covert Ops advisor in Central America. His advanced training and skill caught the attention of the G.I. JOE team, America's most elite fighting squadron, and Sneeden adopted the code name BEACHHEAD as he became the team's ranger. He quickly gained a reputation as a composed and stalwart soldier, holding himself and his fellow Joes to extremely high standards.

Sideshow's upcoming 1/6 scale 12-inch G.I. Joe figure "Beachhead" is outfitted in an OD "woolie pullie" sweater, camo'd BDU style trousers, black assault vest, black combat boots, and OD balaclava (molded onto the head sculpt). He even comes with an assault backpack that carries a break down crossbow and arrows - just like his 3&3/4" counterpart!

Set includes: Pro Body 1.2 with Beachhead Portrait, Neck cover, Rolled fabric beret, Commando sweater with detailed patches, Dog Tags, Detailed pants with pockets, Assault vest, Assault backpack, Boots, .45 1911 Pistol with Drop leg .45 Holster and Belt, .45 quadruple magazine shingle with Mags (x6), MOLLE belt, Drop leg MOLLE platform, Compass Pouch, Three sets of interchangeable gloved hands, XMLR-3A Laser rifle, Smoke grenades (red and yellow), Fragmentation grenade x 3, Tactical Railed Crossbow, Crossbow bolt (x5) and Hip Quiver, Combat knife with sheath, Robinson Arms XCR(R) Short Barrel Rifle with folding stock and Sling, Vertical Foregrip, M68/CCO Red Dot Sight and 3X Optical Magnifier, Tac light, AN/PEQ-15 ATPIAL, Magpul(R) P-Mag x 5, Climbing rope, 12-inch display base with G.I. I love the look of this figure. I'm sorely tempted to get it, just as I'm sorely tempted to pick up Flint.

I especially love the expression on his un-masked face - it totally captures who Beachhead is - a grouchy Ranger :P

hi guys, I agree that this figure is NICE as Sideshow stayed close to the original look of the character.

I'm not a fan of the 3-3/4" Joe world but I'm quickly becoming a fan of the 12" counterparts. This figure looks amazing. It does come with the second head, right? The one without the balaclava.

Hi Ian, the second head is only available if you purchase the Sideshow EXCLUSIVE version which is pretty hard to come by as they usually sell out very fast once pre-orders are open on their site.
