Star Wars Bounty Hunter 7: Aurra Sing

My wonderful wife bought me this Masterpiece Edition as a Christmas present in 2000. I was able to snag a Anarkin Skywalker & C3PO with detachable limbs from Clark Quay flea market without having to fork up mucho doola for the whole boxed Masterpiece Editions. Those days you could get stuff that was loose but complete coz they were able to get them out of the factory and put them on the market.

Before this, it was like "Aurra who?!" Now we know Aurra Sing first appeared onscreen in Star Wars: Episode 1 for only a few seconds, to survey the Podrace on Tatooine in "The Phantom Menace (1999)". The character was so popular with fans that the character was expanded into comics. She also appeared in the game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. The character was first conceived in a sketch labeled "Babe Fett" by Doug Chiang for George Lucas who wanted a Bounty Hunter in Star Wars: Episode 1.

The Boxed Set (Notice that Boba Fett has red wrist gauntlets on the cover - the only time his gauntlets are green is in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back)
