Ophiuchus: Dawn of The Humanoids 1/6th CPL Joel Hagan 12" Figure (Death Squad Version)

Joel was known to the police force as the 1st rookie to bring down a band of armed savages. A total of 17 savages were killed. The remaining 5 were wounded and captured. In the process, Joel was also critically injured while trying to save an innocent civilian from a grenade explosion. Unfortunately, the explosion killed the civilian and the shrapnel blasted through both of his arms. The arms injury were so critically severe at that time that no medical expertise was able to save it. As the result, Joel’s arms have to be amputated to prevent dangerous virus infection that would have been life threatening.

Judge Dredd first appeared in the pages of British comics magazine 2000AD in 1977 and has appeared in nearly every issue since!

Dredd’s reality is a dystopian America where much of the landscape has been devastated by war. The remaining population resides in Mega City One, a megalopolis situated along the eastern seaboard. An incredibly dense population and sky-high unemployment rate make Mega City One a breeding ground for criminals and psychopaths. The madmen dwelling inside the city walls are nothing compared to the mutated terrors running wild in the Cursed Earth outside them. No normal police force could hold the peace in such a world, that’s where The Judge System come in! The Judges act as Judge, Jury, and Executioner, doling out harsh sentences right on the street, and no one does it better than Judge Dredd.

Now, PCS is proud to pay tribute to Mega City One’s most recognizable lawman with the biggest Judge Dredd statue we’ve ever produced. First Look at Calvin's Custom: 1:18 Military Cyborgs Concept Prototypes by Cyborg Corps

Having seen the 1:18 MOTOPSYCLE:mGT by Calvin's Custom last week (check out the posts on my toy blog HERE and HERE), we had a glimpse at Calvin's 1:18 works. Little did we know 1:18 / 3.75 inches is actually Calvin's "1st love". He is 1:6 by trade and has been doing it for the last 18 years. Yet according to Calvin, he is most passionate about 1:18, as he grew up with G.I.Joe and collecting 3.75-inch action figures. He says 1:18 scale allows greater room for diorama and is even more fun as well as challenging to customize. He a big fan of Acid Rain and Boss Fight Studio himself.

To go with the 1:18 MOTOPSYCLE:mGT, Calvin is cooking up a 1:18 Futuristic Military Cyborg line. Here are some pics to give us a first look at two concept prototypes by Calvin under his All-Things Cyborg sub-brand "Cyborg Corps". Let's have a taste and see what might show up on Kickstarter later this year.

Toy Haven Exclusive First Look Part III: Calvin's Custom X GATE TOYS 1:18 scale MOTOPSYCLE: mGT –– "Desert Road Warrior"

For those of us who have been following Calvin's 1:6 scale MOTOPSYCLE: mGT development, we know that there are different painted versions of the 1:6 scale MOTOPSYCLE: mGT. It looks like Calvin is planning on taking the same approach with the 1:18 version. Here's the 1:18 scale Military version in desert tan similar to its 1:6 'brother', featuring a custom 1:18 cyborg by Calvin a few years ago, with upgraded arms and legs.

Calvin told us that he is currently developing some 1:18 Futuristic Military Cyborgs, or at least accessories pack such as arms, hands and head to go with the MOTOPSYCLE:mGT. I can't wait to see what he has come up with. Knowing Calvin and his meticulous attention to details, we know we will not be disappointed. 2018 looks like it's going to be a good year :)

Currently, Calvin is in talks with the factory on the production cost and requirements to bring the MOTOPSYCLE to all 1:18 scale / 3.75-inch collectors via another Kickstarter campaign this year.

MOTOPSYCLE: mGT is an original design by Calvin's Custom, and developed by GATE TOYS.
