Sideshow and Asmus Toys are proud to present the Arwen Sixth Scale Figure based on the likeness of Liv Tyler from the film.

Arwen was the youngest child of Elrond and Celebrían. Her elder brothers were the twins Elladan and Elrohir. Her name, Ar-wen, means 'noble maiden'. She bore the sobriquet "Evenstar" (or Evening Star), as the most beautiful of the last generation of High Elves in Middle-earth. Arwen is half-Elven. In marrying Aragorn after the War of the Ring, she became Queen of the Reunited Kingdom of Arnor and Gondor. Arwen helped unite Elf and Man in peaceful love and harmony, in the process of becoming mortal.

The daughter of Elrond comes with a detail design dark blue robe with silk underlining and adorn with corset drawstring tied by the metal medallion buckle. The hairstyle is part sculpted, part rooted, both having the braidings as worn by actress Liv Tyler in the film.

The body is equipped with parted boots and strong ankle joint for better posing possibilities. The signature weapon Hadhafang used to protect Frodo is made in diecast for a more realistic look.

The Hobbit is a film series consisting of three high fantasy adventure films directed by Peter Jackson. They are based on the 1937 novel The Hobbit by J. R. R. Thranduil is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium. Saruman the White is a fictional character and a major antagonist in J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. He is leader of the Istari, wizards sent to Middle-earth in human form by the godlike Valar to challenge Sauron, the main antagonist of the novel, but eventually he desires Sauron's power for himself and tries to take over Middle-earth by force. Saruman is one of several characters in the book illustrating the corruption of power; his desire for knowledge and order leads to his fall, and he rejects the chance of redemption when it is offered.

In Peter Jackson's film trilogy (2001–2003), Saruman is significantly more active in the first two films than in their equivalent books, and he appears in several scenes that are not depicted in Tolkien's work. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is a 2014 epic fantasy adventure film, directed by Peter Jackson and written by Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, and Guillermo del Toro. It is the third and final installment in the three-part film adaptation based on the novel The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien, following An Unexpected Journey (2012) and The Desolation of Smaug (2013), and together they act as a prequel to Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

Luke Evans stars as Bard the Bowman, a skilled archer and the heir of Girion, the last king of old Dale. He was described as "grim faced" and while a guardsman of Esgaroth he was often predicting floods and poisoned fish. He rallied the guards to defend the town when the dragon came. Bard was able to slay the dragon Smaug with the Black Arrow after a tip from the old thrush (who had overheard Bilbo Baggins' description of Smaug) had revealed an unarmoured spot on the dragon's underside.

Tauriel is a fictional character from Peter Jackson's feature film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. The character does not appear in the original book, but was created by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh as an expansion of material adapted from the book, and first appears in the second film in that trilogy, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, released December 13, 2013. She is a Woodland Elf whose name has been translated as "Daughter of Mirkwood", and is the head of the Mirkwood Elven guard. She is played by Canadian actress Evangeline Lilly.

ACI Toys AM002 The Lord of the Rings 1/6 scale Aragorn (Exclusive) 12" figure is too expensive!

In the "The Lord of the Rings" epic fantasy film series directed by Peter Jackson based on the first volume of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings (1954–1955), Viggo Mortensen played the role of Aragorn. Dubbed Strider, Aragorn is a Dúnedain ranger and the heir to Gondor's throne. Daniel Day-Lewis was offered the part, Nicolas Cage also received an offer, but Stuart Townsend was cast in the role, before being replaced during filming when Jackson realized he was too young. Mortensen's son, a fan of the book, convinced him to take the role. Mortensen read the book on the plane, received a crash course lesson in fencing from Bob Anderson and began filming the scenes on Weathertop. Mortensen became a hit with the crew by patching up his costume and carrying his "hero" sword around with him offscreen.

Besides Hot Toys, a lot of the 1/6 scale manufacturers are there at this year's Singapore Toy Games & Comic Convention (STGCC 2014, now on at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center from September 6 to 7 from 10am till 8pm) showcasing their products and teasing customers and potential buyers with what they had to offer in the near future. From ACI to ZCWO (A to Z), the toy companies (including DAM Toys with one of the hot sellers at STGCC - DAM TOYS 1/6 scale Gangsters Kingdom Spade J (GK001EX) figure [previewed HERE], Phicen etc) were all there to strut their stuff.

This 12-inch figure is most likely inspired by Brad Pitt's Achilles character from the 2004 American epic war film "Troy" and it's been a long while since anyone made this figure. An earlier figure released quite some time back was extremely limited in numbers and very hard to get hold of, with prices hitting the roof for the ones that appeared on eBay. Incoming: Asmus Toys "The Lord of the Rings" 1/6 scale Éowyn in Rohan Armour 12-inch figure

Éowyn is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium, who appears in his most famous work, The Lord of the Rings. She is a noblewoman of Rohan who is described as a shieldmaiden. Éowyn is described to be very beautiful; she was tall, slim, pale, and graceful, with long golden hair and grey eyes. In temperament she was idealistic, spirited, brave and high-minded, but very lonely, having sacrificed her own happiness for years to care for her sick uncle and meet the responsibilities of a shield-maiden.

In Peter Jackson's films The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), Éowyn is played by Miranda Otto. This is the character on which Amsus Toys has based their Lord of the Rings 1/6 scale Éowyn 12-inch figure on and if I were still collecting The Lord of the Rings figures, I would probably grab this in a heartbeat. But the increasing prices of everything has put a huge damper on the collecting hobby and the price of this figure is just not justifiable.

In Return of the King, Éowyn disguised herself as a man and under the alias of Dernhelm, travelled with the Riders of Rohan to the Battle of the Pelennor Fields outside the White City of Minas Tirith in Gondor, carrying with her Merry Brandybuck, who had also been ordered to remain behind, on her horse Windfola.

Pre-order Asmus Toys LOTR Heroes of Middle Earth 1/6 scale Ringwraith and Nazgul Steed

Having previewed the ACI AM001 The Lord of the Rings 1/6 scale Ringwraith 12-inch collectible action figure earlier HERE, Asmus Toys too have decided to release their 1/6 scale versions of the Lord of the Rings Heroes of Middle Earth 1/6 Ringwraith and Nazgul Steed.

Asmus Toys is proud to present the grand plan for the Lord of the Ring's 1/6 collectible action figure project. Heroes of the Middle-Earth will be the premier line of important characters. Presented by well know heroes such as Arragorn, Gandulf...etc, who will be built in top quality head sculpt, realistically accurate clothing, and mixed media accessories. Each hero will have its own custom base, and together they will be puzzled into a huge battle field diorama. Also, heroes don’t necessarily have to be the good guys.

Not when bad guys are so much cooler ;p
