The preview pictures (posted HERE) didn't do this figure justice at all. When I actually saw the product in hand, I was pretty convinced and did not have any hesitation whatsoever in getting it. So here's the Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master figure now up for the first part review
Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master 12-inch figure (worldwide limited release of 150 sets) comes with: Real-like 1/6 scale head sculpt of Ducard, 12-inch action figure body, face mask, detachable samurai armor consisting of chest, shoulders, arms and crouch piece, ninja clothing set, boots with armor, three pairs of gloved hands with armor, katana, leather-like katana scabbard. Scroll down to see all the parts described.
In the 2005 film "Batman Begins" directed by Christopher Nolan, Liam Neeson is Ra's al Ghul and under the pseudonym Henri Ducard, he trains Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) in ninjutsu, a form of martial arts. Hot Toys never did release a 1/6 scale Movie Masterpiece Series Liam Neeson as Henri Ducard / Ra's al Ghul 12-inch figure so this Figure Club release fills the void nicely.
Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master figure comes in a simple box with lid and slip-case cover. Removing the cover and lid reveals the box contents: Ducard in the main tray with all the 1/6 scale accessories stored in ziplock bags.

Ducard is wearing detachable samurai armor consisting of chest, shoulders, arms and crouch piece over his black ninja outfit / clothing set, and has boots with "armor"
Liam Neeson as Henri Ducard is a mysterious man who first finds Bruce Wayne in a Bhutanese prison and then trains him in the martial arts. Initially posing as a subservient member of the League of Shadows, an organization led by Ra's al Ghul, it is later revealed that he is Ra's al Ghul himself who used the name "Ducard" as a pseudonym to hide his true identity.
Neeson is commonly cast as a mentor, so the revelation that his character was the main villain was intended to shock viewers.
In Batman Begins, the origin of Batman's gauntlets with the scalloped fins are first seen as part of the costume of the ninja set Bruce Wayne trained with - this set of fins are hard and sharp enough to slice Ra's al Ghul's sword into many pieces. The fins are no longer decorative but serves a purpose.
Close-up of the Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master head sculpt
Does the 1/6 scale head sculpt resemble Liam Neeson as Henri Ducard / Ra's al Ghul? Perhaps not 100% but the likeness is certainly there.
I did not attempt to remove the armor even though they are supposed to be detachable. they look fins as they are and I'm just going to leave it on
The armor goes around the upper body and extends to the back as well
The forearm gauntlets has intricate details on them. The ninja suit itself isn't just plain black but has a nice texture to it as well. All these little extras certainly makes this figure worth getting
A better view of the forearm gauntlets that would later form an integral part of Batman's costume / batsuit :) click on the picture for a bigger and clearer view
The boots have the "armor" molded on but they are still nice
1/6 scale accessories include katana and leather-like katana scabbard (did I get an extra katana because there are two katanas in my box?), two extra pairs of gloved hands with armor (pair of fists, one right gloved hand for holding sword and a left gloved hand for holding the scabbard) and a mask
