CGL TOYS /6th scale Professor Mutant 2.0 12-inch Figure (James McAvoy as Charles Xavier)

X-Men: First Class (stylized onscreen as X: First Class) is a 2011 American superhero film, based on the X-Men characters appearing in Marvel Comics. The fifth installment in the X-Men film series, the story is set primarily in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis, and focuses on the relationship between Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), and Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and the origin of their groups — the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants, respectively, as they deal with the Hellfire Club led by Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon), who is bent on world domination.

James McAvoy plays Charles Xavier / Professor X: The telepathic mutant leader and founder of the X-Men. He is a close friend of Erik Lehnsherr until their differing views of mutantkind's place in humanity create a schism between them.

Hot Toys showcased their version back in 2012 (check out the pic in my toy blog post HERE) but it never saw the light of day as is the practise of Hot Toys these days. You cannot imagine the number of figures previewed but were never made because all they cared about were the profit margins and when the product / figure don't get a good enough response at preview / prototype stage, they never get made even though there are so many die-hard fans who are eager to get their hands on them.

CGL Toys also released the 1/6th Professor X Mutant 12-inch figure aka James McAvoy as Charles Xavier from X-Men: Days of Future Past (preview pics HERE)

You can also check out Toys Era 1:6 scale The Telepath which looks a lot like James McAvoy as Charles Xavier / Professor X posted HERE
