Can't get enough of this guy so I'm devoting another post to Medicom RAH (Real Action Heroes) 1/6 scale Star Wars Episode IV Han Solo wearing his trademark attire (Corellian spacer black vest and cream-colored shirt, navy blue captain's pants with Corellian blood stripe and jackboots plus pistol belt with quick-draw holster) we saw when Obi-Wan Kenobi (pictures of Sideshow's 1/6 scale old Ben with amazing likeness of actor Sir Alec Guiness HERE) and Luke (with his two droids, R2D2 and C3PO - see my post HERE for pictures of these two droids in 1/6 scale) met him and Chewbacca in the Mos Eisley Cantina on the remote desert planet of Tatooine.
Medicom Han Solo with Harrison Ford head sculpt - best likeness so far IMHO
Now let's take a closer look at his pistol belt with quick-draw holster. Quite a fine job by Medicom even if it's made of plastic - at least you know there aren't any fragile or breakable parts
Han Solo's entire 1/6 scale outfit is very well made by Medicom (or do we say tailored?) with fine stitching and details
1/6 scale Han Solo with his pistol holstered and droid caller in place. Strange that Han Solo would have a droid caller but no droids of his own.
Besides the very nicely detailed pistol belt, Medicom's 1/6 boots for Han Solo is made of soft rubber which easily bends when posing Han Solo which comes with very tight joints especially at the ankles, unlike earlier releases where the figure cannot hold many poses without the aid of a display stand.
Han Solo's 1/6 scale customised DL-44 pistol in holster with scope. You can also see the Corellian blood stripe on the sides of his pants
Medicom RAH Han Solo can strike a pose easily, thanks to the tight joints
Han Solo's DL-44 customized blaster pistol was fashioned from the German Mauser C96 7.63mm semi-automatic pistol (nicknamed the Broomhandle due to it's distinctive grip) with flash suppressor and scope added
Next: Medicom RAH Star Wars Episode IV 1/6 Han Solo and his loyal friend and first mate Chewbacca (posted HERE)
