The figure looks to be based on concepts derived from Japanese anime / manga influences as I've seen characters from Japanese comic books wearing Varsity jackets wielding baseball bats before. One fine example is Kai from Saru gang, part of Medicom Toy Tokyo Tribe 2 series - see my post HERE. Another 12-inch figure released recently who wields a baseball bat is DAM Toys Gangsters Kingdom 1/6th scale Spade 2 action figure - you can check out my action figure review HERE and HERE. MC Toys also released a 1/6th scale outfit set with Varsity jacket embroidered with Iron Man logo - see my posts HERE and HERE.

I also like the box design. It's simple shoe-box style and cleverly uses black ink against the white background. The red words (Chinese characters for the numbers 5 and 6) add just a dash of color to the overall clean look. The back of the box is just as interesting.
